Let's be honest here online is the life blood of video games seems like they've catered to the 1 percent of tournament players, not patching moves and variations because they change their tournament scene. I love competitive play don't get me wrong but this game is so big because of online so why not patch the game for online players. Ninja and sonic will still be ninja and sonic but fix the glaring holes that effect the online gameplay that would keep the grumble to a minimum.....I think anyway. Mk 11 is a terrific game as fans of nrs games we all support them and love them just be nice if they would make improvements based on online gameplay

What do you mean by patch the game for online players?

A few more negative frames and plus frames on moves to adjust for online lag. So with online lag moves work like they do online. Maybe a bit more buffer window things like that. But use the online gameplay for buffs and needs and general gameplay updates not offline

They also nerfed Scorpion's teleport, which was mostly an online complaint as opposed to a tournament player complaint.

Seems like a Sisyphean task. FGC is really good at finding things to grumble about. Especially the NRS scene. Not that they shouldn't try to make improvements, there's some pretty obvious characters that need some attention, but I don't think they're ever going to be able to keep the grumble to a minimum.

It’s pretty simple. Casuals make up 99.99% of the sales for NRS games. They make the game cater towards that audience. The competitive stuff they do, for the most part, is just an added bonus. They upkeep the game because of DLC purchases.
