I know there isn’t anything to discuss yet really. So just share your hype. My second favorite MK character of all time (behind Human Smoke, who I guess technically is in the game now....)

All I want is a godlike axe anti air, and a godlike shoulder charge that can be amplified on block to be safe.

Anything after that is just a plus.

• God-tier AA up-axe
• Shoulder charge causing a hard knockdown for MAXIMUM OKI
• Bow + arrow being a competitively viable projectile
• Wolf transformation move(s), string(s), fatality, and/or brutality
• A UMK3-esque kick, punch, punch string that starts in a low and is special cancelable
• Some sort of moon beam variation special with an obligatory UMK3 brutality

I hated him as a kid in MK3 and thought he was a lame ass answer to T. Hawk in SF2 Turbo. I figured Midway just wanted a Native American character because Capcom had one. But going back and playing UMK3 recently I definitely think he is badass and cant wait to see what they do with him in this game.

I thought T.Hawk was hella lame and Nightwolf was my hero. summoning lightning into his axe? green fire? c'mon now. what did T.Hawk do? break the laws of physics and alter his jump trajectory? psssh

The press release mentioned him being "Grey Cloud" previously.
Sure hope it's the same Nightwolf and not someone else under the title like some suggested.
He's cool as hell andI am hyped for him.

Yea that's what I mean. As a kid I just blew him off cause it just came off as such a gimmick. But going back and actually playing the character on UMK3 again he is awesome. I'm way stoked about him making a comeback. Could careless about SHeeva or Sindel. Always thought they were lame as hell.

I've always loved Nightwolf and love shaman type characters and hope he transforms into a spirit animal (Wolf). He doesn't have to have true 50/50s I'd be fine with staggers and a good low for throw mix as long as his Axe combos and anti aura with his Axel and shoulder charge.
Maybe have a skin like the horror Pack we seen:

Gonna be fun reflecting the western devils bullets back at him with the spiritual power of the great shaman Grey Cloud.

Side note, I never minded the stereotypical Native American appearance he had. Any Native representation was dope to me. Hopefully they don’t go too PC with his design, but they probably will.
