Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
.

What is wrong with people liking her because she is black and in her first introduction she was a black women, and she clearly have african american features.

Because NRS white Washed he hell out of her and stripped away her features, mean she isn't black any more?
The Fuck
Because NRS have never adhered to Tanya ever being black, nor African-American. Some simply took it upon themselves to interpret it that way. Nor have they ever said that any character from their particular fictitious realms are bound to a particular skin tone.

And concerning your last sentence, the word you're looking for is reboot. Technology and resources improve over time to help developers better realize their ideal vision. God forbid the cyborgs in MK9 aren't clad in pro BMX riding gear anymore.

She has the skin tone of an African American woman, as well as African American woman's features. So isn't is safe to conclude that she is a black woman. Same with Jade

No, redesigning, and white washing are two different things.
What they did was strip away all of a features that an African American woman has, and white washing it to more caucasian features.

The fact that you cannot tell the difference between the two of them is just sad.

Tanya is a black woman from a make up place. You can tell but her brown skin, nose and lips.People don't like black characters because the people who write and design said black characters are lazy and mostly racist people. So when you get a good black character that many people like they have to be non black.

If one more person claims that Tanya (a fictional character of a fictional race) is black, I'm going to penetrate my eyeballs with two very sharp pencils. Ed Boon has never stated or confirmed that Tanya is black; in fact, no one has. Her appearance was inspired by an American woman of Italian ancestry named Lia Montelongo. Having dark skin does not make you black. Can the ignorance please stop?

Is it a coincidence that you basically described Tanya's hara-kiri or was that intentional? :-p

Lia Montelongo, the base of Tanya's features:

Lia Montelongo, out of costume:

So by your own logic that you're stressing, NRS were already entertaining this tyranny by darkening the skin of an actively portraying actress, where was the big outcry there?

I suggest you save your pity concerning inability to distinguish skin tone and/or race.

Tanya was in the game because they wanted Kitana, and made a brown color pallet of her. Thus creating Tanya.
The Same Sindel actress, I've seen pictures she does not have the same african american featues as Tanya. If they wanted to base the model off of her, they would have made Tanya a direct representation of her. Just like what they did with Liu Kang. But they didn't. They made a a black woman instead.

The fact that you cannot comprehend the concept of white washing which has been a problem for black people in America, which is even now happening in an a game developed by an American company is sad.

It's because people still want to ignore a problem that happens to minorities.

Again, see it the way you want to see it, NRS have zero obligation towards any fictitious character's "traditional" features. There are plenty of discriminatory agendas against various ethnic groups in numerous countries across the planet where video games don't even have a viable economy. Stop acting like a victimized fuckboi.

Your ignorance is astounding. We are not talking about other countries. We are talking about America, A country that has a history of racism towards black people. Making fun of our physical features. Disrespecting and looking down on our culture in general. To going over to trying to claim it, and white washing it. Which is even now to this day still happening.

And the fact that you want to remain willfully ignorant to that is just sad and pathetic.
And I really have nothing more to say to you since, you're gonna stay in your little ignorant box.

Just do us both a favor, keep it moving, and dismiss yourself.

You're right Tanya's black, trolls and will never listen. There will always be people that will fight anything that's black and good or people like.

It's a fictional character from a fictional planet, she's not even human, don't pull out the race card here, can't we just enjoy the character for being a good character, not because of her skin colour or race?,
