To be frank, they aren't. It's people who are screaming "OMFG TANYA'S NOT BLACK" at every moment and won't let it go.

As I said before, Tanya was always a dark skinned Edenian (not black). Tanya was redesigned to be far lighter in MKX (this counts as whitewashing because her features—including skin tone—are based on human features even though the character is canonically not human) hence the outcry but now Tanya has returned to her classic dark skinned self and all is well.

Can we now discuss where the hell she got those white eyes though? That happened between 4 and Deception but I still don't get it. I wouldn't have minded if they left her with regular eyes tbh.

Tanya is a Black Edenian it's the same as being a Black brazilian. They are black but from brazil.Your logic is way off, so you're telling me people don't think Goku is Asian because he's not human? Yea right, everyone know Goku is Asian.

By you logic Superman is not white because he's not human, Everyone know superman is white. This only comes up when it has to do with cool black characters that everyone want to be everything but black. Anyway even if Tanya was human and from earth you and others would still find lies to make her non black.

so many discussion about skin colour in fighting games,, can't we just like the character for being badass? race changing is not a new thing, Jimmy Olsen now is black, Human Torch now is black, King Pin is black in Affleck Daredevil, Catwoman is black, so what? we don't see any huge complain about blackwashing right? even if we gonna hate the characters it's because it's poorly portrayed or acted, not because of their skin colour..

Wait, they made Tanya lighter in her redesign? I thought she looked darker.

Anyway, if they went for a mulatto look, as a mulatto myself I can dig it.

I was unaware they did that film because it makes no sense to release another fantastic 4 film since the 2005 one was extremely good. The again I'm not really going to put that exactly as "black washing" but more along the lines of bad casting because samuel l. jackson was an amazing choice for nick fury.

I don't think so, I think next 2 weeks. Because usually When a character is released they get a premier Tower, thing is its MK3 Tower for another 6 days and after that is Kotal Kahns Premier Tower. So I think she's not going to be released for another two weeks.
