4...Ferra is a chick man ;) what are you talking about dude? People are acting as if there's NO chicks in this game, and bitching for no reason. You're not going to get Skarlet, Boon just said chances are slim to none on twitter. You guys need to get over it at some point, you got Cassie, D'Vorah and Kitana(who I'm actually a little surprised but she looks awesome) you should be happy with that, Mileena and others will probably come too...

I know Eddy loves Skarlet but she was in MK 9 afterall and I believe her tougher more univiting style possibly effected her chances of return, I mean how many people used her seriously? Exactly...lol she's a cool concept but at this stage I'm more concerned about people like Ermac, Reptile, Mileena characters who actually survived who need to be in this game and Fujin too for tone and storyline reasons. If it means them over a few chicks, so be it. You can't honestly tell me more fans want Sareena or Skarlet over Ermac, Smoke, Fujin, Reptile and Mileena.

Also I'm a HUGE Ermac and Fujin fan, both NEED to be in this game for plot reasons especially. Imagine how us Fujin fans feel, last game he was in was MK A....and MK 4. He's been in 2 games, well 3 if you count mythologies(but that's not a fighting game of the series)

That is not the point. The people who play female characters have little to no options. Ferra isn't playable, that's like saying we have Tanya in MK9 because she tied up in the coliseum. How would you feel if NRS decided to take the Skull Girl approach and made this a female only game while later down the line adding Scorpion and Sub-Zero? So no we will not eventually get over it because we have 3 females. Everyone has an archetype they enjoy playing and right now femme players are getting short staffed.

But you can't ignore the fact that Ferra is still a chick...that's my point. And partially playable as two of Ferr/Torr's styles use her....so I consider that gameplay. She's just not exclusively playable but still a female character, just a midget/assistant. I don't believe that at all, especially NOW everyone has 3 variations, there's 3 confirmed playable females that's 9 different styles to master right there, sorry but that's lot of options and of course there's always the option to use a male.

They'd never make it a female only game though, with only 2 guys and besides again we have more than just a few girls. Also like others have said, the roster isn't even fully out yet. How do you know Tanya, Mileena and God knows who else female won't make the cut? Either way, the game is what it is. If you guys don't like it then don't buy it, to me that's not a true MK fan if you're judging the game by "certain set amount of females here" You are aware first few MK games only had a few literally females right? MK 1 had one, MK 2 had 2(but 3 characters female including Jade) of course Skarlet if you count the glitch...making 4. UMK3 had 5...so on and so forth.

I don't feel you're getting short staffed when MK X especially has 3 variations entirely different per character that are clearly different from one another not to mention again dude, be patient we don't have the full roster yet. Who's to say there won't be 4 more females and possibly DLC with one or two?

It's 3/13. The ratio is normal, since in the end is probably going to be something like 7-8/30-33 as MK9 and Injustice. I wouldn't complain bro.

Noobde didn't said she is out, he said her chances are slim.

I totally understand that her design was conceived as a high execution character, she also required a high strategy planning and good reaction in order to work, but that is what it makes her fun, and challenging, people didn't stuck to Skarlet trough the MK9 life span because she came out later as DLC, and her learning curve wasn't that easy, top tiers here on TYM asked me for advice, and then gave up after a few days after not because of the learning curve, but because at that time, everyone who stuck to their chars from the beggining were playing on a very different level and picking Skarlet to start from zero was like walking several steps backwards. Besides why would anyone main Skarlet when you could just pick Kabal which was more easy and more rewarding?
I kept changing characters in MK9 because i wasn't feeling like i could find one to stick, challenge factor was lacking.

I Started with Kitana due her combo potential, then switched to Lao, Scorpion, Kabal in that order... only later on when i picked Skarlet i found my challenge and it stuck.

From someone what went trough all cast for more than 3 weeks before start playing, i know what i felt when i picked that char, it was the very first time in my MK life that i found a character i would keep researching without bothering, everything about her design was amazing, the years passed and i think she was one of the most fleshed out characters ever, she had few representatives, tough luck but she was badass.

My point is, its a common thing to me playing high execution characters in any game, my archtype of character is the one that plays stupid fast and can start comboing from anything, generally these characters have overhead and low mixups and a strong situational offense, but have a weak defense.

So far in MKX, i haven't found this archtype yet, the closest one is Scorpion, but its not HER.

Does anyone have any idea if MK X will be on Steam for sale or on Steam ? Also anyone know what system requirements will be like i3 or i5-4690k for the intel side and R7 260X discrete graphics card

yeah .... edenians kinda age like elfs, so, 25 years means nothing for Kitana, since with 10.000 years, she looks like as in her middle 20's , so, NRS did right keeping her beautiful and strong as always
