Exactly -- I wouldn't count on anything deeper than Shinnok being unlocked in MKX.

No, people that could read Brazilian debunked this point. All the voice actor said was he was voiced by some person, can't remember who, and it was his favorite character ever. No relationship with Cassie. It's likely the Kollector.

You guys have to stop doing this - we basically know the roster at this point. The Shinnok/Shang/Mileena leak was bullshit as many said all along.

Yooooo, I thought that was a Special Forces stage where they had Triborg hostage and were experimenting on him. But it's a Tekunin stage!!! With that one leak being fake, maybe we actually might have a cyborg on the roster!

It makes no sense for them to model this stage and not have it be relevant in the story. SOMEBODY has to fight in that stage at some point, and I don't think it'll be Baraka who's guarding it.

It has 25+DLC. Most of the bottom row is a gradual fade out that suggests more to come. It doesn't need all 6 slots yet.

I mean, there still might be 28 characters, but the leak saying that Shang/Shinnok/Mileena are unlockables is proven false by Shang being DLC.

But I think it's more likely that it's 25 + DLC and they'll just add more slots when they need to.
