New 52 Black Adam skin is a PS4 exclusive, plus graphics were toned down for current gen

It looks like next gen console players who purchase Injustice: Gods Among Us 'Ultimate Edition' will be getting quite a few perks. In an article over at VentureBeat.com, NetherRealm's producer, Adam Urbano mentions that the graphics for Injustice were actually toned down for current gen consoles. Next gen owners will be able to play their game in 1080p resolution at the same 60 frames per second. It sounds like NetherRealm Studios had a plan for next gen consoles all along.

And it doesn't stop there either... anyone want the New 52 Black Adam skin?

The PS4 Injustice also gets an exclusive character skin: a New 52 Black Adam, from the DC Comics reboot.

On the nontechnical side, PlayStation 4 owners will also see all in-game button prompts (aka, quick-time events, as seen in the single-player campaign or the S.T.A.R. Labs Missions) replaced with controller touch pad swipes. For example, in one S.T.A.R. chapter, which the developers call “Missile Command” in reference to the classic arcade game, bad Superman must stop rockets and bombs from pelting an alternate-universe Metropolis. Instead of hitting X, Circle, Triangle, or Square to fry the incoming explosives with heat vision, you must swipe the PS4 controller’s touch pad up, left, right, or left.

Owners of the PlayStation 3 Ultimate Edition can upgrade to the digital PS4 version for $10.

After reading all of this, who thinks we can expect more PS4 exclusive skins for the characters that are not Batman and Superman?

I was hoping for a Mighty Adam skin, but whatever. Next we'll see Paralax Sinestro for Xbox One and nothing for Killer Frost, because why the fuck does Killer Frost need new skins?

im doubting any of this skin talk is even happening because it doesnt even seem legit, but if it were to happen and they did console exclusive skins id be so fucking mad.

Yeah, like I said, I only saw the one article, so let's not get hasty. But I definitely wouldn't put it past them, ya know?

console exclusive skins makes no sense at all and if its true, would be so idiotic

cxclusive characters somewhat make sense, well actually not even characters make sense nowadays.. no one would buy a console just for injustice..

New Skin? thats cool I guess but what I like more is hearing that all of the S.T.A.R. Labs missions are unlocked from the start.

Also how do they expect this game to survive on next gen when it seems to be there are no plans to release new content for it? Seems like a bad decision to me IMO.

No that's his skin from the MMO.

New52 Black adam is exactly the same as Shazam new52, but black and gold.

Adam Ubano mentioned an exclusive ps4 model, he didn't say skin, but model.

So uh, maybe?

EDIT: actually someone on Neogaf has the ps4 version and he says he doesn't have a new52 Adam skin. So it might need to be unlocked or it's DLC, or it doesn't exist.
Meh.
