All I say to people is not panic just yet
It seems 50/50s are nerfed
-Kano's B1 is punishable
-Sonyas OH looks reactable
-Quan Chis OH is now a mid (maybe unless charged?)
They are giving moves that should have hurtbox to actually have a hurtbox now
-Alien B3 now has a hurtbox
Looking like a universal removal of launching armour attacks
-Reotiles Ex Claw has no armour
-Reptiles Ex flip no longer launches
-Tanya's Ex Low drill no longer launches(Is this true? Anybody got a source?)
Now the reason I think armours may be losing their launching properties is because of this new "Kounter" mechanic.
We got no idea what this is but by the name it sounds like a defensive mechanic.
My 2 realistic guessing in what it is, is related to a new armour system
1.Armour only has its launching properties on reversal//wake up only.
I'd be happy with this as it would stop launching armour as being a neutral /mix up tool.
2.armour only launches on counter hit.
So if Alien does Ex OH and hits you blocking low but you did not press a button it will just knock you down.. but if Alien does Ex OH and catches me pressing D1 it then and only then launches as it countered my attack.
I'd be happy with either of these 2
It could also be a new replacement for pushblock or a universal parry which I'll also be happy with, we'll see.
But my point is the game is getting an unexpected drastic change that's for sure.
So while your char might lose his/her most powerful tool there could be a reason why, like for Example they actually made Quan Summonor an actual legit zoner like he was intended to be and make Warlock an actual counter character like he was designed to be.
But I'm also enjoying seen people lose their minds and over react so just forgot what I said and keep entertaining me
