My Current Tier List (8/31/17)

I appreciate the sweet graphic you made. Personally I'd move Cheetah up to A+, move Firestorm down to A. Maybe Bane, Robin and Ivy could be A+? They are floating around that sort of mid tier just under top 10 area I feel. I might also move Batman up to S tier.

Can I also ask about Brainiac's placement, I've heard he's strong now after the patch but can you explain who exactly he's up there? I don't doubt it but I just haven't heard why.

Braniac is very annoying, I put him in S tier because of his unmatched air control. A lot of characters in the game can't stop him, and he has crazy damage, honestly don't know why nrs buffed his damage

Yeah, I think her matchup spread is too good to not be S. I have her at like, 4ish bad matchups(2 of them 7-3s, 1 6-4 ,1 5.5-4.5), 12 even(including herself obv lol), rest winning. It might look a little different after I re-do it after ECT, but I think I'm pretty close tbh. Sonic does a good job showcasing why I think she has one of the best neutrals in the game, but it's just really difficult to play it that well consistently, but having a top tier neutral + everything else she has??? Too good.

His bnbs didnt really get a buff, they still do about the same dami, its more like individual moves and shorter combos that do a bit more. And while i think brainiac is good, i dont know about S, his wakeup game is bad, footsies are decent, but plenty of characters can contest his air movement.

Top tier neutral? Where was that neutral against Bio's Swamp Thing?

Sonic doesn't really do anything in the neutral. He flips, canary drops and does j2/j3. That isn't top tier neutral at all lol. That's just him being good at getting in or avoiding stuff. I feel like her neutral is meh until she has level 3

Sonic does showcase what we've been saying since day 1 tho. How crazy she is once she gets in.

Interesting tier list. Only a few things I disagree with:

Bladam should be S. He still is probably the best character in the game even after nerfs, but I can't think of anyone who thinks he is outside bottom 5.

Batman should also be S. He still has one of the best traits in the game and his MU spread is probably not bad enough to warrant him being in A+.

Aqua Should be in A+. He was nerfed hard but he is still a very solid character who has a lot of good MUs.

Red Hood and Supes should also both be in S.

Those are my only complaints though.

She wants to be at max-ish lvl 2 range constantly because she has lvl 2 all the time which outranges like... everything, which also happens to be the perfect range for her to jump at people. Everything she gets off level 2 can mean they die without getting to play(and potentially without her spending a bar of meter since lvl 2 loops into itself), and the window where she wont have lvl 2 available is very short. Being able to just raw jump in moments and at ranges no one else would ever consider, because they have to respect the Canary Drop, gives her a lot of bullying power and control. So a lot of it comes down to movement and micro movement, which Sonic has amazing feel for when he plays her. B12 is also amazing to fiddle with and should be explored more, because their options after they bock it are very few due to d3 after b12 on block beating out a ton of things.

I think it should be A+, A, A-, B+. Or A+, A, B+, B. Not really a big deal though, it's the same shit honestly.

And I think AM needs to be A+ in your version.

No one disagrees with Scarecrow being in S tier? Really?

I'm bad at this game, so my opinions on tier lists shouldn't be worth a lot. Still, Scarecrow has difficulty with zoning. Quite a bit of difficulty. It seems to be an intentional weakness in his kit. I think it is bad enough that he has a few bad MUs. Based on what I've seen from Scarecrow players better than me, Deadshot is about 7-3 for Deadshot. Batman is probably 6-4.

Aren't really bad matchups enough to keep a character from being S tier?

I really don't want to downplay. I know I'm losing because of my shitty playing, not my character. I'm just surprised that he is viewed so highly.

But some characters are S+ like catwoman, super girl, and deadshot, having 0-2 bad mu's is insane. At least the Seid has the courtesy to lose a matchup here and there.

Not loosing doesn't make you food all it does is make them at least mid to high. I can have all 5-5 but the guy with alot of winning match ups and few loosing their objectively better.

Agree with most of it but this is the way I'd put it

S Batman, Superman, Deadshot, Catwoman, Darkseid, Red Hood
A+ Black Adam, Starfire, Supergirl, Harley Quinn
A Everyone else not listed
A- Sub-Zero, Cyborg, Blue Beetle
B Gorilla Grodd, Joker, Swamp Thing
