In later interview for TRMK Boon said that they're considering doing PC version in house too.

Well that's what I said; they START differently.
I don't know if it's only because of the distance from the opponent or because of the variations, though.

EDIT: Alright I understood what you meant; after the teleport he does the same superman punch.
But still, do you think it's because of the distance or the variation?

Haha it's all good man. I think it's a distance thing, because his teleport has properties relating to his position with the opponent, so I'd imagine his xray is just as funky.

I posted without watching the video. With respect, some people do not understand other people's posts because they are either from different countries or different cultures. Remember that before you put people down.

I don't think so, there is no other thing that sentence could mean.

He didn't say "Every character is going to have one for sure" he didn't say "Every character's x-ray is going to be different for sure"

He straight up, no hesitation, no self-correcting, said "Everyone is gonna have more than one for sure".

I just don't see the room for error in a statement said that clearly.

There's always a chance for confusion, but come on now.

I doubt it'll be three per character though, that seems a little too ridiculous depending on how differently they'll handle them.

I'm not sure what I'd prefer, a different XR per variation, or two XRs per character that weren't affected by variation choice.

The latter would be better for the player, being able to fine-tune their advantages/disadvantages more. But it would also be harder for NRS to balance.

The former might be cool though because there's more chance for every character to be viable, even if they end up being based around just one variation that has a crazy XR. Actually I guess there's more chance with the other option... But hey, more cool animations to watch this way : P

I got the impression he was saying everyone is going to have an xray, so there will be more than one in the game. If he meant to confirm multiple xrays per character why didnt they make a bigger deal about it? Dont people think they would make that into a news item? They use every new piece of info as a PR mechanic.

So, people are going to disagree about this because casual speaking is open to interpretation. It's all good, the most important thing is we are all hype! I hope there will be different xray choices but I just dont see how that vudeo confirms it.

I wonder if it's just a matter of a front xray and a back xray similar to throws. The only real difference is the positioning. I could see that being viable.

There's casual speaking, and then there's just saying a thing clearly in an interview.

There have been casual reveals before, a number of characters in MK9 were revealed casually in trailers and MKasts and all of those things prior to release, without full fledged trailers or tweets or whatever.

I remember Baraka and Stryker were two them.

Then you had Boon who soft-revealed Raiden in a recent interview.

Not everything has to be highlighted like it's the most game changing announcement or anything.

Holy crap, finally an interview with someone else from the team besides Ed! And it's Steve freakin' Beran! I wonder when we'll be seeing Vogel this time, that guy is just awesome.
And that thing about "multiple x-rays" he definitely didn't mean "more than one for each character. He definitely meant that there will be lots of x-rays since there will be lots of characters.
And LOL @ him forgetting about the PC release. The so called "master race" really doesn't get any love from NRS.
