"Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath Kollection" Leaked on Steam

If the leak is right about all those characters, it kinda makes sense the way the kombat packs have gone/seem to be going. Everyone's wondering why there are so many fan favorites missing like Mileena, Reptile, Ermac, Rain, etc., but if I'm NRS/WB, I'm probably saving big impact characters to pepper in here and there among the kombat packs so that they don't release this super amazing kombat pack with every character that everyone has been asking for and then follow it up with two so-so packs filled with characters that no one really cares about. Especially true if they're trying to extend the life of this game to multiple years. Maybe I'm being hopeful.

Side note, why is everyone assuming that Aftermath Kollection means game plus all DLC? It's just such a weird way to name a complete edition of the game, and it's so early to have that already listed in Steam.

Could just be one of those releases like Ubisoft Gold Editions where you get all the year one season pass content with it and a few extras (so in MK11's case perhaps all the DLC characters, Cangaceiro Kano, Kold War Skarlet, whatever the Scorpion skin was that no one cares about, all the Kombat Pack skin packs and all the purchasable skin packs like the Halloween set)?

After that, you're like everyone else having to fork out for Year 2? I dunno, just throwing out ideas. :rolleyes:

All I have to say is by this point in the future with whatever this is, if they put freaking Mileena and NOT Ermac going to rage on NRS's twitter, all of them lol.

Ermac should return over Mileena. Won't play him, but I'd imagine he'd have a wicked design potential. Much better than Mileena.

I would just be afraid NRS would mess him up like they did with Raiden but it's Ermac, probably more popular and requested than Raiden(even though Raiden is a legacy character) I mean who doesn't think Ermac is cool?

If there truly are another 11 characters coming, I can't help but wonder if KP2 is going to be larger than the original leaked trio has lead us to believe. It may very well have been that those characters happened to already have some "completed" files to roll out with the game originally to allow a smoother patch later on with their eventual arrival. If KP2 ends up being 6 characters like KP1, that would leave 5 more characters to fill in the slots remaining for the 42.

There's three things I want from the remaining 11 characters:
  1. Can we please get some other realm representation via the likes of characters such as Havik and Hotaru? Orderrealm and Chaosrealm best not be sitting out entirely from a 42-character roster in a game with a multiverse-wide time crisis.
  2. Please no 3 guests per pack like KP1. I get they sell extremely well; but unless they re-release Freddy, I'm not interested. Limit it to 1-2 for KP2 and 1 for KP3 (assuming the last 5 are in their own KP3).
  3. A little more 3D representation mixed with the return of some oldies who were passed over would be great. Ashrah, Kai, Sareena, Drahmin, Li Mei, and Shujinko (along with Havik/Hotaru mentioned above) all have fantastic potential for reworking into modern MK staples. Takeda, Kung Jin, Kenshi, Ketchup, and Mustard would all be great choices to come back as well. I don't expect Reptile, Smoke, Rain, or Ermac to return as they're all unfortunately captured within Shang's gameplay (which also kinda rules out Chameleon). Tanya and Tremor are also unfortunately out as NRS doesn't like to release the same DLC for multiple games in a row.

Maybe the work conditions have yet to improve from what was supposedly happening before and the workers just don't try very hard to keep it locked down or someone "accidentally" lets it slip each time.

Nothing has really been "new" when it comes to what's coming up as far as DLC goes. Hell, even the Kombat League reskins get leaked before the season even starts. The only thing that's new about them is their actual reveal. It just sucks more or less always knowing what's coming for the game. It's a shame, really. No surprises.

I'd be so down for Reptile to come back but I doubt it.

Sure Smoke and Reptile have their moves taken by Shang, but their design/backstory lends to having more potential moves than just Shake+Slide

I can deal with no Mileena as long as Reiko and Li Mei get NOTHING and we have more MK characters over guests.

Having said that, I would be very, very surprised if she made it into the game, seeing as how Highborn Kitana has Halfblood Stance and one of Kitana's Gear is a Sai.

out of question ..... even with these new supposed chances of more characters coming up, and a possible KP3, there is no chance in hell that Mileena will be included in this game .... 0% chance ..... she had the same treatment as Jade had in MKX, so, no way, no fucking way that Mileena will be in MK11 .....

We have all speculated ad nauseam for ages and the generally accepted idea is that MK11 is going to follow the Street Fighter V system of named releases. MK11 Aftermath, MK11 Blah Blah. Each with a season of eSports and DLC between them. It would be absolutely zero shock that a MKXL type version with large changes to how the game functions, like maybe completely changing how meter works.. in fact it is expected.
