12 hardly does, B4 does break, but there was a huge risk of using it before, now is much safer option which he didn't had before in between guessing a delayed wakeup for a throw or a F2, now Scorpion can use B4. It was a multi tool purpose but it had a very big risk in all of them if blocked, now its a much more viable option.12 seems like it'd break armor well, but b4 breaks armor brain dead. Like serious end combos in 212 xx short run xx b4 with pretty much any timing and you'll break armor.
I think the matches essentially function as P2P. I was under the impression that the servers are only there to arrange the matchmaking and receive uploaded stats and data. That is my best guess/recollection, I could be completely wrong.I just hope their servers can handle the load in an open release.
You are correct but thats how the current netcode works with input delay model. With rollback/GGPO you need something to save 'states' for the game to rollback to when both clients dont agree on the current state. (i.e. servers). Im not familiar with what kind of load this produces but hopefully you're right.I think the matches essentially function as P2P. Regardless, NRS has to have put up a metric ass-ton of money to convert the game to GGPO. I think that if available bandwidth becomes the issue, NRS comes prepared. You don't tackle an unprecedented, multi-million dollar overhaul of your most visible and successful title only to clam up and get cheap when it comes to purchasing access to some extra bandwidth should they need it.
Yeah, by the time we were done playing I had figured it out...but the first few matches he got me good with it. In the end I took the set 5-3 before he left. I just thought it was kind of cheap. He was really struggling to get a win and pull out any tricks he had int eh bag. Thanks for the tips. The mixups you are talking about are extremely reactable.
It sounds like matchup inexperience with Takeda is clearly your biggest issue here. The only way to really become proficient at blocking his OH whips into (non-EX) low Kunai setups is to see them and get hit by them so many times that you learn how to spot them before they come out.
Find a good Takeda player and keep playing them. In a couple of weeks, you will be laughing at yourself for ever getting hit by whips into kunai at all.
yup, good point hahaYeah you still have to guess
But if you are in the corner and you see a throw coming you obviously gonna try tech the side your on, because if you guess wrong you are still out of the corner and Johnnys throw only benefits him in the corner he throws them far away when midscreen
Precisely! Even though we are on different hemispheres, those matches were amazingly smooth!Ggs, it was pretty solid considering I'm almost in Canada and you're down in Brazil right? I'd say things are looking up. I've played a couple people from TYM so far including Shazzy, Zoofs and some others and for the most part, it's very stable and quality. And it's going to get better as things iron out so that's exciting in and of itself. Being able to play this game regularly again is gonna be a real treat.
Facts. My hype for SFV is so low that after today I'm considering not even getting it anymore now that I can play competitively on MKX. Now I'm like "do I really wanna learn this game when MKX is playable online?" If I feel like this now I can only imagine how I'll feel when I'm playing my girl D'Vorah on this godlike netcode. My hype for SFV is at the lowest right now, thanks to NRS's outstanding job in developing this new netcode. I played a few matches in the SFV beta that just opened this morning, and all I could think was "Damn, I just want to play more MKX, why am I even here?"
Now that both games have equally good netcodes, I can clearly see which game is the most fun for me!

It's over. This netcode is a winner. I'm strongly considering sitting out SFV now, something that if you would have asked my 2 weeks ago I would have laughed at.
Can't cancel b2 anymore, 113 rising stunt is fixedTheres nothing in the op and i dont wanna look through all these pages so il just ask. Any changes to a list or stunt double Johnny?
Has anyone else run into this camera issue and can describe their occurrence of it? (characters & when it started during the match etc)I've run into this issue a couple of times in beta. I don't know if it's specific to Jacqui or what. Sometimes it looks like the fighting is too low on the screen, like the camera is floating around or something. Am I just seeing things weird or is this an actual glitch?
Starts at around 27 seconds.
At around 48 seconds, I do Jacqui's 1212 screen, and the camera seems to go crazy floating up and down.
Same thing that happened to Scars also happened to me in a similar way, and I was also using Jacqui. SG variation. Fighting against an A-List Johnny. Bugged me out for a few seconds.Has anyone else run into this camera issue and can describe their occurrence of it? (characters & when it started during the match etc)
thx
Same here! This is a day to remember lolWow I checked my mail today and got a ps4 beta code!

Thought I recorded it but it turns out I didn't, sorry. Just went and watched all the matches I had saved from beta but none have this happen.Happens to me too, also only when using Jacqui. I'll edit in a video later this afternoon.
