You're ignoring all the other points.
The fact that Goro is just DLC and not in the game suggests he plays no major role in the story.
Kintaro leads the Shokan uprising, not Goro.
We've seen that Kotal is brutal and will kill people "for sport".
There's no way Goro would spare Kotal, and there's very little chance that Kotal would spare Goro.

The Frost vs Cassie fight was completely different. We knew there would be no death and it would be interrupted, we just didn't know how.

Cassie didn't spare Frost either, the only reason she didn't kill her was becasue of an interruption.

I expect a similar interruption to take place here.

Goro is DLC because he's an unexpected character that isn't known for being playable and he'll sell like hot cakes. The fact that they literally slap "Goro Lives" on all of his trailer appearances is probably a weird coincidence though? Right?

The fact that he'll play no major role in the story is pointless, Sheeva and Baraka played no major role in MK9 outside of jobbing two or three times for the sake of story progression.

Skarlet was DLC and was a background character in MK9's story.

Just because Kintaro leads it doesn't mean Goro wouldn't be a part of it. There is a whole Shokan royal monarchy, of course they'll have a say in what happens with their race.

We heard him tell KL that because KL was being a cocky asshole in their intro. We've seen him kill to protect, however.

Um..."Goro Lives" has been a series slogan since Mortal Kombat 1. If anything, them using it here is just a call back to that and not indicative of his role in the plot.

What? Goro being in the game albeit a pre-order bonus definitely doesn't mean that he won't play a role in the story. Quite the opposite imo considering he is already in the game as we can see from the living towers.

I really really liked this issue. The Kotal back-story was really well done and his father intrigues me. However I don't get why people are thinking Mileena and Goro are romantically involved, it seems more like an alliance than anything. That throwback to the MK movie dinner table though.

We already know Mileena and Goro fail. The only question is wether they live or not. Given Kotal's proclaimation, I'm assuming Mileena won't. Either that or he'd still be hounding people for her whereabaout s come game time. Goro I'm assuming will be spared. I don't know why they'd waste a dlc spot on a dead character. Whats his ending going to be like? Oh, turns out he didn't die, also he was able to beat the bad guy. Absurd.

I'm not making any shit up. He literally says "I will kill you for sport". That is a direct indication of the type of person he is, and that he is willing to kill someone just for being cheeky, imagine what he would do to someone who was responsible for the slaughter of his people and who is hired to kill him.

Either way, we'll find out next Sunday.

If Mileena dies in the comics my post about that in this thread will be something along the lines of "HAHAHAHAHAHA" and mentioning how the Mileena criers are going to be disappointed and it will be the best fucking thing.

If Mileena turns out to be the big bad in the game however I would actually be ok with that as it brings two good things:
1. An unexpected returning character surprisingly being the big bad.
2. Those stupid whiny moaning fuckers that fantasise about Mileena being in the game will finally shut the hell up since they, as obviously fucking expected anyway, got their fucking Mileena as a playable character in the game. Fucking...GUH the sheer amount of them and the amount they cry for Mileena to be in the game just riles me up. FUCK!

But yeah point is I'd be cool with Mileena ending up being the big bad.

Remember the story of MKX spans 25 years. Just as the comic is doing. So the key events happening 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years after MK9 are possibly going to be in both the comic and game, or at least linked very closely.

It's not too crazy to think that the big players in the comic will also be in the story mode since they happen simultaneously. And big players in story mode are almost always playable.

I doubt Mileena as the big bad in the game just as I doubt her not making the roster to MKX. I think Kotal sucessfully crushed her and Reiko's reign (maybe even killing Reiko in the process) but Mileena will still be scheming in the shadows, presumably with the actual big bad.

Yeah, dying in the comic really doesn't really effect your chances because the story of the game will have parts that take place before this time.

I doubt Mileena will die in the comic, in the game however I feel she may. Her odds are pretty fucked right now though, not going to lie.

Goro is in the game. The DLC is just to make him playable; he's a boss just like he was in MK9, difference is now you can pay to make him playable. I bet my ass on this.

I'd like to see Skarlet in the comics (and the game), talking about blood magik, it makes sense.
