MK9 Parry Glitch?

thing is, 360 cant save updates to HDD and PSN got taken to the woodshed. NRS and MK9 players are trapped under ice.

I'm sorry I'm new here, but MK9 is designed to recieve patches via MS QA which gets saved on the main storage device, and small config patches that don't require the certification process, also to the main storage device. I don't see how 360 players are screwed.

the cage thing must be banned. you can xray then sit in crouch block forever and win. that must be banned.

Absolutely... actually, it should be banned on any character with a parry move.

Kang, Cage, Smoke, Cy.Sub...

easy to see too... if the person does a parry and immediately crouch blocks, and another parry comes out... you lose the round. Simple...

what happens if you get cage in block stun with a fire ball then do a normal attack do you still get counter by it?

If the glitch in the video is the original, then thats not the 360 version. Everyone I've talked to with 360 says they can't do it.

I´m on 360 and I have tried getting it to work with all characters and it does not.

video was recorded on ps3. found on 360. I have both systems if no one else records I'll record tonight.

There is an issue with the updates saving to the 360's HDD. so until they fix that, any updates would be futile on both system with PSN being down for who knows how long.

Then they just aren't doing it right. I found the glitch on the 360. Tried it offline and online and both worked.

@OJuggernautO: man youér getting better and better in MK congratulation and thanks for share this but we need to give this video to the Staff to check it out for a fix patch but manuela grinder say something on his facebook that if this patch came out for XBOX 360 it´s gonna be fucked by that shit about that in order to play MK with the fix you got to be connected with your xbla account is that true?

It will be patched ASAP. Until then it will be very easily to regulate at tournaments. It would only be a "big deal" if no one knew about it IMO.

Why would there be a need for regulation or patching though?

It seems to be quite easy to fight against.

One example would be if Johnny Cage gets someone in the corner with XRay, he can hold two buttons and win the match automatically regardless of what the other person does.

He can't counter a throw didn't he?, and crouching block make you vulnerable to it, also, if Johnny land a X-Ray and don't combo of it you can assume he may try to glitch the X-Ray which mean less damage for him a free punish/scape for you.

Just to clear this up, the glitch does not work once a projectile is blocked in ALL cases, as well. This is useless except in the Cage vs Baraka match, where Baraka cannot hit crouch block with a projectile.
