MK11 - The Pit Konfirmed?

As much as I'd love to see The Pit return, I seriously hope it isn't just the MKX one like in that picture. Personally, I'd also like it to be actually faithful to The Pit I instead of being The Pit II like it was in MK9 for some reason despite taking place on Shang Tsung's island and not Outworld proper, but that's just me.

They should but they very rarely do compared to other fighters. Injustice 2 and mk 9 didn't get any and X got one.

Not sure why as surely the people who do the stages won't be doing the characters and surely it's too early to build the next games stages outside of concept art.
