It looks like we are now Steam friends! In addition to our Saturday sets, I'd highly recommend joining R1p's Discord community at https://discord.gg/zKK2pCJJXV. It is full of insanely high-level players, but they are all very friendly, helpful, and welcoming to new players. My most important piece of advice is not to get too frustrated. As a new player, you'll be dealing with stuff that may seem unbeatable, but give it some time, ask plenty of questions, and listen to the players who know what they're talking about, and you'll be dominating sets in no time!
yes, omg i’m so sorry lol. i couldn’t make an account for some reason then i finally did and it needed an administrator needed to review my account before i could post in the forum! i joined the server so hopefully i can get in contact with someone! might dm you on steam too if that’s okay! and thank you for the advice. i haven’t even touched online play yet because it seems pretty nerve wracking haha
No worries! The "account approval" process is kind of a pain, but it helps prevent bots and spammers from being able to post.

You can also try opening Task Manager, right-clicking the game, click "go to details", right-click the game again, and do Set Priority: High. That helped tone down my drops significantly.
Congrats twinkster, that's great to hear! In any fighting game (and many other aspects of life), your own mental game is the first and most important battle you have to conquer.
