I mostly agree with what you said M.D, apart from his matchup against Kang, which in my experience SEEMS 5-5, even if he has some kind of a 9 frame mid, but that doesn't mean we don't have to work to beat him. Not galaxy brain level work, like most top tiers, but we have to work somehow, and it does work. I find Kung Lao much more difficult in comparison because of the reach and pushbacks from his strings, air control, setups, aa's and great wakeups.

However, there's absolutely NO WAY you can count on ducking that Kang string mid match. Its fast, it comes out before you can even think, you don't expect it, I've tried. Its not an honest thing to say we can count on it, people may end eating up an 34% combo just because.

(OBS: Saying Cage beats Cetrion is madness).

Cage definitely doesn’t beat Spring Cleaning, but it’s not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. What’s weird is I feel cage does better at range. Up close, Cetrion seems to make like more difficult.

@FoughtDragon01 thanks bro. Played some KL today and the amount of Kangs was disgusting. Got my sh*t rocked but was gaining points anyway. I'd imagine this was found ages ago but just incase d4/d3 low profiles noobs u2 getup. Gives you enough time to punish too

After playing a couple liu kangs online the issue is just the issues of the game in general.
-7 should mean your turn is over unless your doing really slow move.
I caught liu doing the f43u3 and full punished after the f43 then he started to parry so I started d4 after and it was trading with the string for some reason.
So I tried to use my parry lol wish I could get the clip of it losing to a mid.

Thats all without him using the stance. Guess I didnt out range him enough. I know its online and its not easy to be frame perfect but watching the parry lose like that I checked out at that point

therese a pretty hefty startup on the parry. cant just insta parry.

It says its 14 frames startup but it may not be active until the 16 frame been watching the replay over and over to figure out the issue

I get my parry in between F43 and U3 with zero issue. You have to be inputting to late.

THIS BETTER FIX THE FKN HITBOXES

So we got JACK SHIT for KBs, but at least there's hope that nothing will whiff, still a HUGE deal if it works.

wait a second.. Kabal's crouching hurtbox wasn't changed? But he was already a whiffing character.
This matchup is still going to be horrible.

Welp, if the whiffing isnt fixed in any significant way, I'm done. I cannot believe they didnt change the Mime Time KB requirements. WTF.

The patch notes have like every character with 17 notes and johnny gets a KB on a shit variation fixed and better hit advantage.
The johnny upplayers fucked this character.
And mentions johnny hitbox and talks about 121 but not forceballs.

Yeah...it was definitely upplayers...Give me a break.

Look at the Jade community. Their community was just like ours. A lot of people arguing over how bad she was. Yet Jade, got several changes.
