Microsoft Respond To Concerns Over Xbox1

I love how some of you guys speak for the entire world with your generalizations.

The fact is, Microsoft is the best provider of technology in the world. The Xbox One is going to be a great console. The most complaints I hear are about the Xbox One being always online. The way I see it, if you don't have internet you shouldn't be looking to get a next-gen console. In a world that revolves around the internet, I fail to see how that is a bad feature.

Like he said above, change isn't a bad thing. Most people are flocking to Sony because it's 100 bucks less. You get what you pay for.

Great post Mamba. The news flow won't personally influence my decision on purchasing an Xbox One. It could influence some gamers. My biggest issue is how Microsoft is handling this from a public relations perspective.

It's the same problem Diablo 3 has. Something happens on their end and suddenly you aren't able to play a game you payed for.

The makers of Diablo aren't MS. You are looking at what could happen, rather than what has. In the 11 years that XBL has been in operation, you can proably count on one hand how many times it has gone down.

Option 1: No internet mandatory.
Option 2: Internet mandatory.

What perks do I get for option 2? I have no reason to pick option 2.

Its not the internet im worried about its all the other bullshit. wanna play at a friends house ? sure you can for 1 hour. wanna lend a game to ur friend ? sure be he has to be in ur friendlist for atleast 30 days and you can lend it only ONCE etc etc..

A year ago, I was swapping ISPs. I had a major problem and they somehow managed to fuck up my broadband line or ... something. I'm no tech geek.

Point is, I was out of internet for a month.

Now, If this happened in 1 year, and I had a PS4, I'd be happy and playing skyrim, I'd be annoyed that I couldn't do a lot of things, but at least I had skyrim.

With Xbox 1... I have a glorified brick.

Seriously? Just because it hasn't happened yet makes it better? Everyone makes mistakes and the times that Xbox-live was down at least 2 of them were for a month. That's a whole month where you can't do shit but watch TV on your Xbox because that's all else it can do. Besides, the guys who made Diablo 3 run the servers on WoW and have for almost 10 years now. They are in the same league as Microsoft is in what you're trying to imply.
