Tell your friend who has 1.5Mbps Internet that you want to come over and play one of your games, but to start downloading the night before because it will be 10-15GB... take away literally all of his bandwidth so he can't play online.

You can say that he should upgrade his Internet, but welcome to the real world.

How often can you change what 10 accounts are linked? I don't know about you, but there is no fucking way even my most trusted friend is going to have my account information on his system. He can buy his own games or borrow one of my PS4 games.

I imagine your "family" wouldn't store your account/payment info. That would be a nightmare. The system probably has permission regarding game loans and whatnot.

Anyway, bring your disk and login on your account from his xbox.

Huh. That might be a little more difficult if you have to trade the physical media.

It looks like there are some benefits to digital distribution after all. For one thing, it saves fuel.

Personally, if I was a console player, I think it's pretty darn cool that I can visit my friends in Seattle and show them the games I enjoy without having to pack all the physical media. Or they could just look at my library from their couch while I'm still here in San Francisco, browse what I have and play whatever... Cool stuff.

What I also find really cool, is the ability to lend games.

I'll give you an example. A friend lent me arkham asylum a while ago, it was after arkam city was out. Now, I loved the game so much, that after I returned it to him (something you can't do on xbone), I bought arkham asylum, and then arkham city.

2 games were bought by me, because of game lending. Something that would not have happened, with xbox.

As I said, there will likely be permissions that you can set. At the very least the rights holder will have priority.

They haven't released the specifics yet of how you set your list, how often you can change it, how permissions will operate, etc.

I'm researching, Jered. I'm reading things, I'm not assuming that MS will intentionally do everything in their power to make their system fail, and I'm keeping an open mind.

It astonishes me that you could even type that without feeling shame, after you have exhibited your pervasive and crippling allergy to gathering information before coming to a conclusion. From your wild assertions about "Dudebros", assumptions that nobody is interested in the Kinect, pigeonholing of the gamer demographic... you have consistently and without fail worked from your conclusion rather than from information.

Microsoft is very young.. Has only been around what? A year or two at least.. With no solid foundation/advisors and TIME to research, think and talk about.. They clearly put this all together in under a day (but thats a rookie mistake) You are right Jared... XB1 MAY put Microsoft under..Forever!

They have 2 consoles of experience. 360 was a success, relatively speaking.

Look on the internet, look at reality, and realize that the competition simply is better in every conceivable way, save for maybe your personal opinion on exclusives. I personally think that PS4s exclusives are better, but that is opinion.

Lol chill it was just a joke, I could give two shits about this whole debacle. Thus far there's only like two Xbox exclusives I will regret not having. Funny thing is I've been an Xbox fanboy since the OG XBOX 1, but I just can't believe the direction they're heading with this new console. I understand that times are changing and the digital information paradigm is shifting radically, but to intentionally pander only to those with big wallets is just messed up. IMO
