Impossible. Order of operations = complain, wait, complain, wait, top player does work, complain, copy top player, complain. Remember when zod (Daves) main came out he complained (and not about his trait that was broken at the time) about his zoning and dmg. It wasn't until Pig and others put in work that zod started to get respect. It's always easier to complain.

But at the same time MMH can't really loop his teleports can he? So it's not really a constant trap, it's just a super annoying 50/50 that you have to deal with all the time anywhere on the screen.


I may be misunderstanding this line. But MMH can in fact literally loop his teleport. With the right combo ender he can place you into a ambiguous L/R mixup using his teleport - essentially allowing him to loop it until you at least guess correctly. It's not as tight/reliable as the KF/BG vortexes, but it's got a safer starter for the most part.

You are misunderstanding , he can not loop it for free. There are a lot of variables which do not let him get the combo after every time he lands it

Oh then. Can you give me a valid example of a character in this game that can "loop" a move "for free"? Because that sounds like a bunch of huey to me.

That is what I am saying, there isn't something you can loop for free in this game. Well, without interactables that is. And if we don't consider unreactable vortexes like Frost's.

MMH cant do this 39% in the corner because it reverses input on the grab. and it also spends meter.. its not that unfair lol. however i think his damage output is fine. especially with the tools that they gave this character.

Martian Manhunter also takes 11% of damage from MB b+3.

Why?
is that character specific? or just since the patch now that MB should be doing more?

I haven't noticed this, but if this is verses everyone, then yah, that is some fuckin bullshit. That would be worth a thread and a tag to colt.

GGA 16 Bit clarified it for me.

The overhead teleport should not be safe. The risk/reward for the overhead teleport is completely completely skewed in some match ups.

It's not really safe though. It's -8 right? It can be punished or at the very least checked/opponent can begin their offense on block.

It's also nothing like Scorpion's teleport in that Scorpion's teleport starts dodging as soon as you do the motion. I can be used very offensively and with a lot of tricks and to counter darn near every projectile on reaction.

MMh's teleport (overhead or underneath) has a bit of startup and though it looks like he's intangible, he isn't. You can't just teleport DS's guns or Nightwing's ground sparks for example. He can be Superman lasered and Aquaman's ground trident hit him on the way off the screen. The dodge element of MMH's teleport is only when he's off screen. DD's supernova hits on the way up. MMH's doesn't.

39%? Huh. I've been getting at least 42%. No trait. Why end with F12 Push when you can 22 Push?

Anyway...... MMH's MB pillar is WAY tougher to unzone/punish than OH Teleport. Way faster. tracks. You don't get 39%+ damage...... but hey...... It stops people from jumping, dashing, and airdashing. OH teleport doesn't do that nearly as well.
