Burning down in flames for kicks
B21 b21 F4 backdash boost. Works against characters without a teleport. Don't forget that if you trade trance with projectile you get a free boost. Lately though I've just been getting sweeps and I'm not sure why
His sweep is so underrated imo. It has decent range, it's fast, and it's only -1 or -2. Also, I wanted to show you some stuff with Quan but you didn't get to Cat's or Bit's room ;_;B21 b21 F4 backdash boost. Works against characters without a teleport. Quan Chi will always be undersold, underplayed, and overpowered.
And now I understand that this is the greatest trick Quan Chi ever pulled. He made everyone underestimate him. *Trance hand movement*
I feel a little guilty for serving someone who is so evil, the most evil person in the MK story, IMO, but it feels...soo...........great.....

Only in trance trades. During your recovery time input 3-4 directional inputs before the Skeletal boost input, like ddd,db4 or bbb,db4. That's why Shujinkidink is getting sweeps (which makes me wonder how he knows about it in the first place). Tags is the only way for me to see a post, so if you want anything else... Nice thread btw, almost everyone here gets the point of the Sorcerer's existence
Don't get too comfortable cuz he'll stab you in the back just like he did to the rest of us. The dreaded 21skull...
F1,2 can be hit confirmed into trance or block confirmed into rune, just watch for the f1 to hit.Hidan, Insuperable, AdmiralAugustus, RTO Toxic, Under_The_Mayo, IniquityDM, anyone else I can't think of ATM who knows the sorcerer well...
I've been trolling with the Quancheesy one for some time now, but I've never really gone the extra mile of mastery.
And the more I see of him rising up the ranks, the more I feel like he's a more-than-worthwhile character with a lot more to offer than just the Rune & Mayo Traps.
And unlike all my previous pursuits...Shang, Jade, Stryker, Mileena, etc...he appeals to me enough that I know I won't just get frustrated enough with failure to go back to one of my regulars; I really WANT to make the effort to learn his ways rather than just keep him in my pocket stuck at basic level.
What can you guys tell me about him that'll be instrumental to my improvement?
I'm not yet concerned with seperate matchups as I am building the stiff, solid fundamentals and avoiding bad habits and avoidable mistakes.
Who can help the Boxy One get his Woolay to MAXIMUM DAMAGE?

Every one should play Quan.
Bring that Quan to yestercades man. I'm ready to cage everyone there.
Three words: Quan. Chi. Suit.I've been playing with him a little... He's just too much fun <3
Where does one go to watch said Epic-ness?
have you tried buying him a drink?Hells yes .
I think that why he appeals to me so much...I've spent enough time with Cy, Sub and Mac that I've picked up on almost all of their tricks, but my problems lie in execution and counter-attack, whereas with Quan, there's so much about him I haven't figured out yet that learning the dirty deeds while building his foundations will make the experience that much more awesome.
Hell, just the fact that I'm FINALLY motivated enough to rep my old main again is hype as fuck. Makes it FUN again .
So far...definitely changing my inputs to make his combos more comfortable.
X = 1 + Square = 2 + Triangle = 3 = B3 1+2 never misses, Traps feel smoother, and juggles stop dropping.
Precisely things like this. The little instrumental bits and pieces that comprise the best possible iteration of the character, especially defending against the retarded things people are capable of in this game.
Solid AA combo = Augustus makes Boxy's day better .
