When i was going for b12 after mb flying kick it was beating Sub-Zero's d1 and d4 but soon after i found this new tech to escape Liu's pressure easily. And i hope you test this yourself and i'll be more than happy if you prove me wrong. And if i am right please delete this post ASAP because it is attracting unwanted LK haters who dont know anything about Liu Kang and demanding nerfs for the character.

You know I love you Tom. But more characters have options than don't. 7-8 frame normals and reversals are very much the norm and it's more so a select few that can't get out. Dizzy stated those characters already I believe. Of those characters that can't get out, it's only for a portion of the match.I dont care what happens with thia. yes its a slide because it down profiles every option after meter burned flying kick except d1 and f44 for which en slide can be used and its a very effective counter for the pressure. And as it is a reversal so its quite easy to pull rather than pokes. Slide being safe or unsafe is another thing but in my post i was showing Tom that he can easily counter the MB Dragon kick pressure.wait was the new tech youre talking about a slide?

Anyway, on topic - I don't think the comparisons to Scorpion are fair, and we don't just need a blanket "no loopable pressure" rule. LK is a very different character, one who relies on the pressure, Scorpion has a lot of other things going for him, restands, TP, 50/50, etc, and his pressure is still strong it just has a guessing game. LK on the other hand is built around it, and his other two variations trade it off for different styles of pressure bonuses. I think it needs to stay.
HOWEVER, I don't think block infinites like this need to stay and I don't understand why anyone would argue otherwise except for one of two reasons, they are either LK mains, or trying to be edgy and rag on TB like what happens every thread he makes.
I think what we should be focusing on is finding a way to remove this, without nerfing the rest of the character, and without senselessly buffing certain other characters by giving them faster pokes

You are spreading misinformation too, there is no way one can fuzzy guard between f4 and b2 consistently, people are not robots....F4 (9) and b2 (13) can be fuzzy guarded. The only 50/50 is stager and armor break. The high low 50/50 doesn't exist.

If you feel that you have no options vs Sub in the corner, you really need to learn the match up man. His corner game is strong, and the rest of the character is balanced around it. However, even with all the tradeoffs Sub makes for his corner game, it still aint even close to the level of this. You can ALWAYS do something vs Sub.the pot calling the kettle black. The characters genuinely having troubles with this tech assumes they met all the three prereqs: 1. cornered, 2. without bar, 3. holding the block button for the next 50 seconds. Factor in human execution and if it is really impossible for those characters (highly doubt it), then go counterpick.
Last I checked, being cornered is a dangerous place to be in almost every fighting game.
People love to complain being (theoretically) raped by Liu Kang for free in the corner, yet GM Sub Zero is doing the same thing against most grapplers even out of the corner. NRS, plz nerf Ice Clones so my sun god kotal doesn't die to sub zero

Nothing has to be changed of Liu Kang. He should stay as he is now. A good bunch characters gets zoned to death by Liu Kang and have to either take risks like jumpins / use meter on armor or slowly crawl into his range and he gets in whenever he wants and starts block pressure / throws / b2 / f4 , his neutral game is stupid good along w the meter he builds , his is risk free pressure , imagine if characters like Erron Black or Sonya had low fireball and when you got in you'd have to deal w 50/50s.
I can say this from Erron Black pov it's dumb how when he starts pressure you can't armor , you can't backdash , you can't press a button and it takes a simple "mistake" as a b2 on hit to get all of that started if the liu player wants to and he already outspaces you while controlling the pace of the match.

Only if he has stamina. If Kang is at the end of his loop than he does not and cannot get a full combo.Just curious and trying to learn the match-up, if he armour breaks can he combo? I don't see that much B1 being used.
