He is Sonya's commanding officer, he has seen the rivalry between Sub-Zero and Scorpion, he probably saw Kung Lao getting whooped by Scorpion, and the younger Subby defeated Ermac after the Soul Collection blew up Major Briggs' arms. Jax has some sort of relation to all four of your fighters, plus Bi-Han!
