i would love if NRS make lao f4 into a 2hits armor special giveing it a new command like df4..i dont think they will add new animation to the game , only change command to fit already existing animation.. and standing 3 should be something else , maybe an overhead move ..

S3 should be a combo filler give it diff properties. Remember his shaolin roll in mk9? Bring that ish back boi

Guys they aren't going to be changing normals/specials this late in the games life. If anything maybe a hot fix or 2 at most but this is probably it

A hotfix would be great. he dont need normals changed just a decent wakeup would highly be appreciated.

So lets just hope for the best here and focus on major issues and not normals.

Whirlwind kicks being an armored special is an amazing idea. Deadly Alliance style. Still would rather have a better back dash and back walk, though.

the last thing kl needs are normals changed, aside from 112124 hitbox fixing and he needs mostly a walkspeed buff and backdash, hat trap and above trap having 5 less frames and a -5 call back, i could care less if they don't touch the wakeup, but still rather having the whirlwind kicks as a stand alone special with a 2 hits of armor version than having armor on ex spin and burn another bar to launch it.

Besides the whirlwind is already coded in the game its the x-ray's startup animation, so its practically the same treatment cryomancer got.

Also getting reports that B12,2+4 is punishable on hit in the corner, if that's the case maybe that will need fixing.

Agreed 110% with what you say.
Id love the xray kick as a getoff me move what a fantastic idea.

when i do it from dive kick combos and skip the x-ray animation it goes to 25%, which seems like the right scale for me.
So KL would still have options to land combos with his normals for knockdowns and such, or this new special as an ender.

Ok sounds good so far. also 2 hits of armour and probably -10 on block would be good.

Imagine buzz saw... Able to do a mini 50/50 off every hit and making the opponent guess three times off of b22.
The other variations get a 50/50 with f2 and f3
Sounds kind of like Shaolin Kung Jin. Technically if the overhead special was punishable (probably should be a little more than -10) then I don't think it would necessarily make Lao OP, but I'd settle for just unsafe mid armor.

Yeah I could get behind unsafe mid armor, just as a get off me move. Make them respect a wake up.

The mind game and utility Tempest creates is still strong. Any normal (like B2 and F2) at max range into DB1 will cause the hat to whiff thus leading into pressure. I think many are confused with how to enforce this mind game. Tempest is still stronger in terms of neutral and consistently applying offence.
