• No over the top resets. Resets are fine, they're just bullshit when they do 100% damage. Yeah, I know, he has that, but I've never seen anyone actually implement it in a competitive match.

Cyrax has a very unique play style, so I hope he (and Sektor) makes it. Cyrax is a great character. He was great fun to play in MK9. Ok his bomb resets made him too powerful in MK9 but there's no reason to think that the same will happen in MKX as it will have a different engine and new balancing.

That's entirely subjective to who you feel those staple characters are. 6-8 slots isn't nearly enough to cover that spectrum IMO.

There were multiple design oversights that made Cyrax ridiculous in MK9, not just the damage exploits, some of which didn't even involve nets/bombs. It's still very possible he could have the same principle moveset and not even be in the top half of the tier list this time around though.

Make the fucking net either more negative or lower the hitbox for it. The bombs need tweaking as well, I've never been to keen on someone being able to throw meterless unblockables.

The exact same gameplay, but with an overall damage reduction to everyone of his moves and a increased damage scaling specially for bombs and nets, so his 100% resets do about 55. Things like invisible bombs should be fixed, his command grab should be nerfed and both bombs and nets should have a reduced hitbox. I think with that he would still be a really strong character without being unfair.

I would like for his MK style bomb combos to return, BUT for the damage on them to be hella scaled, to where a 80% bomb reset combo would not be scaled down to about 40-45 requiring at least 2 meters to pull off. Also I would like for cyrax to have more gadgets to control things on the battlefield, somewhat like lex Luther, but if they do give him more gadgets I want users to have to be able to actually work with this character and have to think, if they want to net damage, u will have to put in that work in the lab like revolver did with sex Luther.

Boon has been active on twitter again recently and he's also been dropping some juicy hints - perhaps juicer than usual. Take it for what you will, but besides the recent possible leak or Kano in a German GamePro it looks like Boon it heavily hinting towards the condiment brothers back in the game.
