I always been willing to play on znes. Infact I think we have before. But it still is not the same as playing the real version.

Yea true, we might of played MK3 on ZSNES. My harddrive got wiped out last week, so i need to reinstall everything. I'll let you know once i do.

The unfortunate part is that the SNES version is so different from the arcade version... it's like playing 2 different games.

I would love to have the Mame119 version Phil, if you wouldn't mind walking me through how to set it up. I was more of a KI2/Gold player, but KI2 does not have online support and KIGold must be played on a different EMU rather than 119....however I would also fully support KIGold online and offline as well....at Ludicrous speed with EVERYTHING turned on.

Anyway, I would love to re-learn KI just to support it with you guys and here's a little contribution I'd like to make which was done by combining the input of Tom Brady, MKK Hanzo, RZP, and Myself. This is a KIGold guide of our COMBINED efforts. Special thanx to u guys.

I miss this game... this is one game I remember playing on SNES A LOT... I think I played the Boxer and hated Spinal for some reason...

NRS MAKE A NEW KI.

yep I agree, all the huge combos were taken out and the fancy shadow moves were removed as well..

and KIGold on N64 was also diff compared to KI2..

I never got to play KI in the arcades. I finally got a snes copy though :D I hope it's as epic as I remember.

I have the "good version" of KI2, but I notcie it's kinda slow in comparison to KIGold.....is there any options to turn up the speed like there was in KIGold? Ludicrous speed, cheap juggles, and some way to enable their super-moves and super-linkers? I know when i was messing w/ Tusk on KI2, I couldn't pull-off Jungle Tumble (d/b,d,d/f,b+FK) or Super-Conqueror (d,d/b,b,d/b,d,d/f,f+P) and his super-linker, Super Web-of Death (d,d/f,f,b + FP during a combo).

These WERE in KI2 and not just added for Gold, right?

We are about to be, but I'm waiting for Phil to fine-tone his KI and Idk how to run KI2 online....this version doesnt give an option....but the major reason is just to have those 2 arcade games emulated properly and perfectly for OFFline play, if nothing else. I'd give it the attention I give UMK3, though.

I've been playing the hell outta KI lately (KI 2... not so much). I need someone other than the AI to play tho. I'll check this thread to see when ya'll hook up the M.A.M.E. thing. peace!

I just realized, that if a new KI game comes out, it will be on the xbox only, because Microsoft owns Rare.
