It's cool to see people talking about KI again. If anyone wants to bop my rusty ass my gt is the same as my name here. I'll probably be playing some in the next few days. Though I haven't played in probably a month or so and I'm gonna be free

Just downloaded KI, complete noob in this department, what are some good beginner resources? I heard some good things about the tutorial in this game, but what else should I take a look at?

2 tips I've learned from streams.
When punishing us the heaviest normal available into special for the lowest kv as well as the most damage before the combo becomes breakable. When punishing a dp or something use heavy or if you have to use medium or light but they won't get the same benefits.
Also if using a juggle character you are racking up potential damage you don't need to recap to cash out. Shadow Enders will cash out your juggle damage. Maya's Meterless air command grab will also

Go into the training mode in learn every character light medium heavy auto double animation that way when it comes down to breaking combos,it'll make it less stressful

Also the manual system
Light linker you can only do light manuals
Strong Linker you can do medium manuals and light manuals
Fierce Linker you can do fierce strong light.
The timing is strict with certain characters

Look up the Infil KI guide. Its a huge resource that explains every system in the game as well as breakdowns of characters and how they are played/what they do well/what they do poorly.

Don't play Gargos or we can't be friends.

A few tips bby
You jump way to much, I swear bHP probably took like 60% every game. If you're jump a lot because you're scared of lance you can low profile it with most of shin hisakos crouching buttons most notably her sweep. Her sweep can go under lance and hit me because of its long range plus you'll get a hard knockdown. Another thing you really need to do is hit confirm you're rekka, every time you went into full rekka and that's an easy punish also you need better setups. Your setups are pretty weak, mostly because you couldn't convert from them, you hit me with quite a few but I never really got scared of them because they didn't do they any damage.

Edit: I forgot a few things. Her shadow cross up can punish hail summon at any distance (insanely good) also you can use the slow moving orb and just try to avoid the zoning and once it gets close you got some good options to get in, just don't teleport when I have hail above me or it'll hit you as you come out of your tele.

Yeah I fought a shitty Thunder and I think it might be more helpful learn that way till I become more comfortable with her. She's definitely not a simple character?
