He must of being trying to get up and jump or press a button haha

That works more time than you think because most people either armour, late get up or instant get up button so you have a good chance of hitting them or it whiffing and even if they block NP has got great pushback in the corner

You could S1 EX SK to be safe

Originally thought Alist as Better zoning better reward for Footsies and harder to play Footsies against plus side switching and being able to make 113 safe

But since SD has a HTB that eliminates all them strengths so I say with the HTB intact 5-5

Imo, without taking into account the htb, A-List is better of course, specially because of what you said, it's the only variation that can make the low hitting string safe and that is huge. Also A-List hitconfirms every f3 if he has stamina. SD needs clone to combo off f3 without commiting to exnutpunch ala fisticuffs.

However taking into account that SD has a jailing htb in the corner (which let's be honest, it's like a guaranteed combo that does not reward the opponent if blocked) into restand, potentially back into the same situation, probably the closest to an unblockable now and also easy to perform...I don't know. That has massive value, we should think of the htb as a temporary gift and not take it into account while giving matchup numbers, because it will probably go, and people is going to overrate the variation until then.

Imo A List's fireballs and whiff cancelling/jailing/hit confirming off of F3 gives him probably the best spacing in MKX.

It's on another level, in comparison to his other variations.

I'm trying to resist creating a game plan around it but I'm getting more use to it and I do not feel I outplayed my opponent when I use it (I do on chars with HTB and super strong 50/50 with a smile on my face though)
