You can dash in after blocked GG to stay in range for the inf. That is the hard part of keeping it going, unless you're in the corner.

Nah, you can't do anything but get hit by the GG once it's started. The issue is...how are you going to get it started outside of a JP? It's not like Kabal and Sonya's block infs, where everything but the kitchen sink could start it. It is much more situational.

I have to agree, it doesn't make him god tier like kabal or sonya when they had their shenanigans. Jax is a character that you should absolutely fear letting him get close to you IMO

No, it is just easier with a jump punch because the opponent must be standing.

no, just do f12 instead of dash 12s. easy to keep it going.

to escape, mash d1 or uppercut after 12 and eat the gotcha grab. mashing out d1/uppercut stops jax from doing another normal and forces him to end with gotcha grab.

Agreed, anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't played against CDjr's Jax, yet. He dominates hard with Jax and doesn't even use this shit, if he did he'd probably be almost impossible to beat.

We need to attract FIGHTING GAME players, not just SFIV and Tekken players. But honestly, there's tons of shit that deters all sorts of players from games, due to lack of knowledge on said deterrent. I agree Jax is good without it, but it adds something to him.

REO, the character hasn't really been explored...a lot of them haven't. Much like there's powerful tactics with Jax...we don't necessarily know exactly what the holes are in said tactics.

So true, I've seen that stream where he was destroying everyone without ever needing this. I think he only did it twice in 10 games and it was mostly to build meter.

Also, that Ground Pound cancel is godlike. Reminds me of my gun cancel.

I feel Jax and Baraka are very much alike, they can both struggle to get in sometimes and need meter to get through zoning but once they're in they can be so dangerous and scary lol. Except Jax can build meter from far away, has a special cancel and a block inf up close. Man Baraka seems like a toned down version of Jax the more I think about it...
