Was pretty fun to watch! From what I saw you should try to optimise your combos, and also, when WoWo's in Lasso stance it's generally easier to deal with her in Staff stance as Standing 1 is an amazing footsie tool, not to mention he has better wakeups in Staff stance and a great air-to-air with J2. The 6f D1 also really helps when trying to deal with her pressure. Finally, you were baiting the wakeups a lot and losing pressure in the meantime. A good way around this is to use a well-spaced meaty Standing 1 on wakeup which allows you to continue pressure and punish a lasso spin.You can also use 2 xx MB Flipkick to beat out a lasso spin on wakeup

I don't really like critiquing cause I don't think there's any 1 perfect way to play NW, but...

For the WoWo MU, I think it's better to go for damage then trying to go for setups. You can punish her WUs on block anyways.

Being in staff is always better at keeping her out when she's pressuring you. Try to make her jump with GP and then snipe her with FG.

Backdash out of her frametraps.

Use more wingdings.

Optimize your combos

Good matches.In the beginning you were staying in Escrima a lot, good thing you adjusted and changed to Staff more.
But you like to do these combo enders that just aren't in your favor, stuff like F213~Flipkick or Spark.
You can end with Staff Spin and stay in Staff, dash forward and do a 1~Ground Pound check. She has to respect it, she simple cannot wake-up.
Scout her air dashes, you can easily punish them with J2(just got to know her spacing to know which kind of jump to do).
If WW does her cross-up OTG in the corner, she has less advantage. So doesn't be afraid to interrupt her or backdash.
Start backdashing her frametraps. Dropped combo's and simple not clashing lost you a few matches.
At 17:10 you hit her with Ground Pound MB and went for Flying Grayson while you could have gone for B3. NW's Staff B3 has ridiculous range, so be sure to use it.

At 17:59 you could have MB'ed your Staff Spin and finished right there by spending another bar.
Also could have done a lot more damage when punishing her Spin.

You got a pretty solid NW, just need a few adjustments.

I normally use S1 in staff more but he counters w d2 punish so I use it carefully. There are a rib of things I know I have to reincorporate into my game. I stopped playing for a while so I'm learning everything all over again. Thanks for the advice

@BigMilk everyone else said what I was. optimize combos, damage, staff ext. I played lazlo in a long set last night, forgot the score dont really care either cause we where having fun lol. he has good NW exp and knows what to look for but just like all players who know what to look for you have to use that to your advantage. random them out with unfamiliar set ups and frame traps. Good set though but I could see you where having issues with your controller alot of empty cancels and inputs didnt come out :(

Not bad but I was hoping to see more footsies in general. It seemed 90% momentum and 10% footsies. Staff changes that and allows him to control the match.

Things to watch out for:
She didn't d3 your wakeups. It makes EVERYTHING whiff. Then it becomes a 50/50 with b2. I also didn't see her abusing corner pressure.

I see you played ok but I actually have more critique for the wowo player. She could have done so much more. NW really needs staff for lasso and escrima for shield. That's the MU in a nutshell

Yea we have two setups one ps3 and the other xbox so I was getting a bunch of execution errors that I don't normally have but that's no excuse. I appreciate the critism anyway as far as general gameplay abd strategy wise. @AK L0rdoftheFLY Lars Lindegren has a thread somewhere of the same video asking for critiques also. Thanks guys, well have more vids soon.
