Good grief, Im not watching anymore of these trailers. It makes me cringe every time I see a recycled MK9 move. I think its pretty pathetic.

Which moves are recycled MK9 moves in that trailer?
The vast majority of the stuff they showed were stage interactions, supers, and throws. All of which are all new.
The only showed like 3 strings, 2 of which are catwomans and are not anywhere in MK9. Is the one Batman string from MK9? It just kinda looked like generic punches and kicks to me.

Could it be a cinematic throw animation?

That would be a crazily long throw, and would be a threat, or a legitimate tool, to generate time-run-outs. Also, I've seen the Flash's throw in previous trailers; and, his throw was grab, one hundred punches in 1.5 seconds, then a big knockdown punch.
