The fact that Black Adam doesn't take my ENTIRE lifebar (just half of it!) by touching me is in fact a step up from launch balance of previous NRS games.

This game is fucking awesome.

PREACH. I love how this is just above that "Injustice 2 is a problematic game" thread too. The dude who started that thread has already started other threads complaining about the game as well. Some people just always want more, and never appreciate what they have. This game is truly fantastic.

Im glad that pew pew is back. Dont let the character mood fool you. Im a zoner at heart, but sometimes you gotta just cause some salt using other methods... like flying around like a maniac. :DOGE

Game is pretty good. There are things that could be better but all in all I'm enjoying it.

I really like the footsie and spacing game in some matchups that I couldn't get in injustice 1. Anti-airing and trip-guarding are much easier as well, and I always feel I have room to improve on. It's what keeps me playing.

It is better this way
I always feel I have room to improve on
This for real. Obviously I have room to improve, even with Aquaman I'm dumpster trash at Injustice. But the next level is always within reach so it keeps you playing.

I'm dumpster trash with no use now

Maybe in a month I'll graduate to a recycling bin, the usable kind of trash

Maybe in 2 months I'll be out of the trash and on the floor, then start working my way up

Other than the input system the game is perfect for me. The balance isn't perfect but there is enough variety in playstyles and character choices to keep things interesting. Interactables while super strong are starting to become a teensy bit easier to deal with. The tournament mode gear randomization makes some badass and terrible costumes (but they're funny terrible so it's all good). I also love the walk speed and footsie adjustments from previous games.

All of the good is what makes the input system so frustrating. The only real thing holding the game back imo.

I think many of the complains about it are valid (At least concerning the input buffer) but I also really like the game. I have been enjoying it quite a bit, and I feel like I click with it more than I ever did with the first game or MKX so far.

It's a shame because I like Mortal Kombat so so so much more than anything DC, but I feel like I am more comfy with how this game plays.

Too bad YOU... will DIE!
This game owns. I didn't care for IJ1 particularly and I'm definitely more of a MK person at heart but I have *never* had more fun with an NRS game. That the game is this good in vanilla state is almost unbelievable.

To Live is to Die
Maybe its just me. If the majority of characters in a fg can't do one of the most basic and fundamental concepts, anti-airing. Then this game can't be fantastic.

I will leave my seal on you!
Indeed, this game is awesome and it's a huge improvement over IJ1: Excellent roster, a huge improvement in graphics, an already seen deep-gameplay, awesome story mode, huge replay value, gigantic amount of content and modes, and awesome online mode. This game has so much to offer from all angles. I still prefer Mortal Kombat over Injustice, as MK is even better, and yes MKX is a better game overall, but IJ2 is still an excellent game that has even set the bar for the fighting game genre in a couple of regards, just like MKX have set the bar in a couple of regards too.

This game is awesome, period.

It's all so very confusing.
I think the game is brilliant. Is it perfect? Nope, but it's also 11minutes after release. There's a ton of stuff out there that's been found and more yet to find. Lots of interesting and unique character designs, great online, awesome features like customization and such.. as usual the sound design is absolutely some of the best of ANY GAME in ANY GENRE . It's smooth and feels great to play. Tons of depth but a shallow end of the pool for the newer players.

I super look forward to the competitive KOTH stuff being implemented (I really feel like it will be) and eventual improvements to characters who are undoubtedly struggling (when we are SURE they are struggling..) and various tweaks and tidbits.

Great game, I'm absolutely loving it so far.

The game is amazing! It looks amazing and it plays amazing, nrs nailed it in both design and mechanics. Of course we are gonna have a few balance issues at the beggining but if the developers can handle it like they did with inj 1 we are probably gonna have the most balanced game we ever had after a few patches. I'm a mk fanboy, it was the first game I've ever played, at the age of 3, it's been my favorite franchise for 16 years now, but I gotta admit, inj 2 is miles ahead of every mk title to date. The game get's me so excited that I really don't mind playing through a gauntlet of Batmans and Supermans, I can still have a lot of fun.

You know he was broke ;)

But seriously, this is a game NRS should be proud of. It feels fun and easy to approach, but still really deep, and that's a hard thing to achieve.

And it will only keep getting better with time as fixes and improvements are patched in.

Paulo and Jedwards, we love you <3
oh ok whatever you say lord crimsonstorms sorry forgive me just dont ban me bro lul

the downside of this is, injustice feels more like NRS' new baby with super effort and polish now while MKX felt only like a half-assed job all the time.

Adding a few of those sweet buffs to make the characters I play to become OD then the game will be perfect :DOGE

I'm an MK fanboy so I don't really click with DC characters, but Injustice 2 as a game, is amazing! The game is polished, dense and really sets the standard now in the quality of fighting games.

Easily the most balanced NRS game at launch and probably the best, no questions asked. I am enjoying it a lot so far although i've been getting a bit burnt out on it lately. Like Zoidberg said, I really feel like the inputs are the one major thing that needs to be fixed. When you have to compensate for the buffer window in matches it can really fuck you up.
