The song of ice and fire.Like volcanoes in Greenland, the prefect deadly alliance of fire and ice.
Why is yours and RedRaptors usernames switched?Shut up Red.
Yeah you are right, this Sub-Zero will probably just fight to defend his Clan's honor. The clan sub zero is in trains like, magical ice warriors. There's tons of sub zeros so to speak. This might be a new sub zero since the first 2 are dead.
They didn't change names, they changed profile pics, you're actually quote the real red, is something they do to troll new guys like you lol.Why is yours and RedRaptors usernames switched?

I would love that! Would that also imply the return of WC!Well I talked about MKX being on an entirely separate storyline and how the next game would need to be some form of MKDA style thing.
So maybe Scorp/Sub are the new deadly alliance?
Is it a confirmed jumping or streamlined?
I'm assuming character specific chapters are still happening, so I'd wager either its the kind of thing where a few characters chapters are 5 years back, some are 10, some are 15, and then we finish on the newbies in current day, or its like an MKvDC thing where you just kinda pick a character or a period of time and its not until you watch them all that you get the whole deal.Ed Boon in the Gamespot presentation said:This game covers a number of time periods. . . it has elements from right after mk9, 5 years ahead, 15 years ahead, 25 years ahead... we're not necessarily telling the story linearly, we're doing it in periods of time
That's why I love NRS games, I mean if you compare MK vs. DC, MK 9 and Injustice story telling modes to say Capcom, Tekken etc. NRS tears those games a new asshole easily....I'm assuming character specific chapters are still happening, so I'd wager either its the kind of thing where a few characters chapters are 5 years back, some are 10, some are 15, and then we finish on the newbies in current day, or its like an MKvDC thing where you just kinda pick a character or a period of time and its not until you watch them all that you get the whole deal.
Either way I'm excited. I could mean a lot of alts (youngs and olds) and/or a lot of cameos ala Konquest. We were promised a lot of that in Injustice and it did not deliver IMO.
I'm really impressed that they continue to find fun ways to tell stories when most of the industry is still stuck on text bubbles and matte paintings.
Capcom sucks at everything beyond just making a good fighting game, but to their credit, Namco has actuallydone a good job in the past, the extra stuff they wrote in to fill out their mission modes in the soul series was boss and I especially liked the way that in Tekken 4 a lot of the endings tied directly together to form the narrative. Unfortunatelytheir last few games have really just shit the bed in terms of plot. SCV didn't even have multiple playable characters in story mode. What a mess. That's why I love NRS games, I mean if you compare MK vs. DC, MK 9 and Injustice story telling modes to say Capcom, Tekken etc. NRS tears those games a new asshole easily....
I can't wait to see it in the new game, if that gameplay looks that gorgeous. Can you imagine how good the cinematic sequences will look? Drools lol
lol Well it's good to see and hear a real MK fan who doesn't want things SF or Injustice have "in MK" and let it do it's own thing. I agree, I mean also it's hard for Capcom fans now to bash NRS, MK etc given their recent situation lol. Yeah, even though I think Tekken's story is rather silly half the time I do think Namco has done better then Capcom but all fighters now should really take a page out of NRS's book when it comes to telling a story, extra modes etc I lost track of the Tekken plot since I felt it went kind of south, silly etc. Yeah I heard from a lot of my SC friends that the storymode was weird. I played SC4 but skipped on SC5.Capcom sucks at everything beyond just making a good fighting game, but to their credit, Namco has actuallydone a good job in the past, the extra stuff they wrote in to fill out their mission modes in the soul series was boss and I especially liked the way that in Tekken 4 a lot of the endings tied directly together to form the narrative. I don't really care what Capcom / NRS / Namco / Sega or anybody do with their games as long as its good. People want to play the allegiance game to feel good at the end of the day, that fine. All I'm about is good fighting game packaages, and I just think we've reached a point where NRS has proven a competent story helps a fighting game. Maybe its not essential, but the fact that MK9 and Injustice's story modes were actually serious selling points for a lot of people, I think its something that merits looking into. Capcom preached a lot early on about how they were learning things from MK9 about storytelling but both Ultimate Marvel (admittedly, it would've been hard to change that) and SfXt still wound up with. . well this;lol Well it's good to see and hear a real MK fan who doesn't want things SF or Injustice have "in MK" and let it do it's own thing. I think even Smash brothers has a better story telling mode then those other fighters, except for MK and Injustice though. I just love the style of NRS. I mean WB goes all out hiring pro actors, having NRS create an actual CGI movie more or less. That's serious effort. I'm curious to see what side modes we get too.
