Most games this is what happens, ultras, super arts, assists, isms, grooves etc. They boil down the "useless" ones pretty quick and sometimes one or two hang on for matchups, this, though. I don't think anyone has ever gone as far as actually removing / adding entire moves between modes. Alpha 3 had a little of that, as did a couple of GGs but they still wound up being pretty insignifigant in the long run.Depending on how much the different stances change the available strings/special moves, I imagine we'll see one of two things happening among the characters:
1. People quickly find that one stance is superior to the others and everyone uses that
first person to say I'm the (insert style) (insert character) of the US/World/Universe is getting set adrift.2. Character specialists among stances, which could create some really hype exhibitions (ft5 for best ferratorr, grappler ninj VS generalist runwaymafia, etc etc etc)
D'vorah wears one some times but not always. Mid tier?Any character wearing a hood deserves to be top tier
If she is I won't waste any of my time even bothering to try and innovate the character like I did with Killer Frost. I'm looking at the top tier and I'm picking the coolest one preferably a female agile small character whose stuck up and high maintenanceD'vorah wears one some times but not always. Mid tier?
You sure about that? I was watching Maximilian's live stream and he mentioned that you could combo off of a meter burned throw. They don't combo, they just restand your opponent and leaves you at like +12 or something
It looks like a piercing.
Oops, my bad. It's much better that way. Thanks. Its an aboriginal piercing.
So far that sounds like Cassie. Hope you like bubble gum.If she is I won't waste any of my time even bothering to try and innovate the character like I did with Killer Frost. Yea I saw that too, but Paulo confirmed that you don't combo off of them, they just restand the opponent and leave you at a big advantage, around +12 he said. You sure about that? I was watching Maximilian's live stream and he mentioned that you could combo off of a meter burned throw.
get rid of fatality 3 and put in animality5 slots?
Fatality 1
Fatality 2
Fatality 3
Stage fatality
Brutality
This game is brutal, there is no room for babalities
Alright then, that's actually a relief. Thanks.Yea I saw that too, but Paulo confirmed that you don't combo off of them, they just restand the opponent and leave you at a big advantage, around +12 he said.
i don't think freindships wont fit a darker mortal kombat tone if this is going that way bt who knowsAnimalities were stupid and shitty. I'd much rather see Mercy and Friendships return.
There will always be SOME sort of humor in MK. MK2 was dark as hell but there was still plenty of humor in that. There will have to be some sort of way to humiliate your opponent after beating them. The hype of the Babality cannot be removed. Friendships could replace Babalities. I would miss the "Get Babied, Bro", though.i don't think freindships wont fit a darker mortal kombat tone if this is going that way bt who knows
Sounds like a MOBA character.''Kotal Khan on the other hand, has a style that allows him to summon totems that buff him for as long as they remain on screen. He can even summon a persistent beam of sunlight that deals damage when an enemy passes through it, but heals him if he stands under it.''

How about Mercies? I find giving your opponent a sliver of life back, beating their asses again and finally doing a fatality on them pretty damn humiliating. There will always be SOME sort of humor in MK.
