Been working on combos off of D2 lasso stance, for anti-air combos (D2 being her best grounded anti-air).
Best one I've found so far is a 10 hit 30%: D2, 2,3, b3, forward jump 3, b1, 1, 3, lasso. <- Maybe someone could record this for me?

I'm happy enough with that to move on to combos starting with Dive punch, but let me know if you find something better off of D2.

EDIT: I should probably note that I did the combo on Lex.
Still want that anti-air filmed? I just got home from a party...

Hmmm.. maybe working in a lasso spin somewhere. I'm getting in training mode to try some things out.
I'm wondering if you can D2, 2, 3, jf 3, b1,1, lasso spin, b3, jf 3, b1,1,3 lasso. Bout to find out. Will update with findings...

Edit. I'm really off my game tonight. Can't execute. So I'll just post what ideas I have and you guys can expand upon them. I can't get jf 3 and land b1 after D2, 2, 3. jf 2 does work tho. Also, you can forward dash after D2, 2, 3 and start b1, 1, lasso spin (or b1, 1, 3, lasso spin), but they're knocked too far away to follow up with b3. D2, 2, 3, jf 3 can combo into 2, 3 again, but also knocks them back too far so the only thing you can follow up with is tiara throw or lasso. I think D2, 2, 3, b3 is the most damaging starter you can do that will allow for the most damage. I just can't seem to connect b3 anywhere else in the chain. I've tried dive punch instead of jf 3 trying to catch them in the air to pop them up enough to continue the combo, but that just won't work. Going to keep trying things, but it's hard to make much progress when I keep dropping my combos :/ Need everybody's help. What is everyone else trying to pull off?

I feel that wonderwoman is far better with S&S

- You have a very long time to MB a shield bash so you can hit confirm it. Normal shield bash is + on hit and punishable if blocked and MB shield bash is +9 on block. This means if WW has meter you should always be at advantage.
- MB Shield bash is (iirc) her only safe wake up
- MB shield throw has a much better synergy with shield stance than tiara toss does with lasso
- B23 (S&S) is an incredible string... great reach and a low
- 22 can be hitconfirmed into stance change -> spin (only works in corner i think)
- 22 midscreen can be hitconfirmed into MB shield throw -> 11~stance change spin
- Air shield throw has a much better trajectory than air tiara
- From half screen to full you still have time to stance change -> parry projectiles

IMO lasso stance should be used in these situations

- Cancelled from a S&S string for an airdash oki setup or a crossup
- To get in on characters that cant control the air too well
- To use b23 (Lasso) for space control when you have no meter
- To counter straight projectiles with her instant air superman or instant air dash -> tiara/divekick

I feel that as the game progresses and WW players level up, the preferred stance will be S&S

The popular opinion at first glance is that her Sword Stance is "garbage; useless; etc., etc.,"...but when I'm fighting...I feel safe with that sword out...I dunno...it's def. useful!

I don't plan on maining WW when the game comes out...but since I've been putting in so much work with her during this demo...I agree with you. I just feel like i can pressure much safer without relying on crossups. I might keep WW as a secondary to Catwoman when it comes out. I feel like she may end up being broken

I agree...her D1,2 is broken enough. And yes...Catwoman is my main as well!!!

In case you missed TB's post on WW in his Q&A thread:

after B+113, follow up with 23, then B+3. So, the combo would be B+113, 23, B+3, etc..


with WW you can cancel normals into her shield stance from lasso and vice versa. In shield stance her meter burn shield toss allows you to continue your combo.

So.. from lasso: B+11~shield stance~meter burn shield toss, 11~lasso stance~lasso spin, 23, B+3, Jumping 3, 23~lasso grab - should be around 50%
Fiending for a video of that combo :D

To be honest if you're going to spend meter at that range the safer option is to do a MB ground/wall bounce. Armour, advantage and cant be ducked

Good stuff though!
That's ONE WAY of looking at using one bar of meter...you gotta mix it up...

Well not really. I'll test it out later but i cant think of any reason that the tiara would be better than a bounce.
Maybe the tiara would beat a backdash at that range.

Edit: Also not trying to be a dick about it. Thanks for developing the character!

Lol...I just can't help but think you assume an armored wall bounce is the end all/ be all for ALL situations at this distance. No. Sometimes you have to be crafty and throw different shit out there. In the heat of battle...yeah. I'm not saying this is the "go to tech"...but you have to be versatile...and it proves that the Tiara throw is FAR from useless.
