how do i play mk9 on pc? do i do it via steam?

Yes. To play MK9 on PC all you have to do is:

- download Steam (the program is free)
- Buy and download MK9 (it's usually $19.99 but cheaper on certain Steam sale days)

That's it. It also comes with all DLC and costumes so you don't have to worry about any of that. And many players think the online is slightly better than consoles.

i would play gladly with my wolf and ermac against my mk role model, but Reo always plays with a stream on, so there will be lag of tremendous amounts. In any case, we could just test for 30 seconds if connection is acceptable. Im from eastern EU but most of the time i can play with US ( i got good inet), probably 2.5 dots of green out of 4. best case 3/4, but thats rare thing with US.

For me personally, there is not much of a difference towards MK9 online if I'm streaming or not. It always usually feels the same to me. Of course, it will feel a little laggier against players who live further away, but that's just how it goes with online and nothing you can really do :/. I've tried playing many of the same players with my stream off to see if it would really help a lot, and I honestly didn't notice a difference, if any at all. The best thing you can do is just make sure no one is downloading anything while playing online, or having other people using their internet. Because the only time I've experienced my connection being VERY laggy was when someone else was on my internet.

Oh, and being wired of course helps a lot more than being on wifi.
