Yes Sub has pressure strings; those being 2,1 and 22, both are 9 frames (Barakas quickest string is 12 I believe) and have plenty of room for mixups. Subs D4 is also among the best in the game, 8 frame start up and on hit at the right range Sub basically gets a free 2,1.
Yes Baraka can apply pressure too but youre underestimating the tools Sub has; 2,2 and clone mean you cannot jump at Sub either and since Sub beats Baraka at a distance theres no reason for him to approach unless he has a major life disadvantage. Its all on Baraka to make the initial approach, and without meter for EX Blade Charge theres really not much he can do to threaten Sub.
To sum up; Subs normals are better and his keep away game is better. Its 6-4 Sub.
