Question How would you MOD your character on the MK9 PC version?

I'd make kratos legal
PC Edition doesn't have Kratos. ;_;

Scorpion - Don't play with Hellfire:
Scorpion envelops himself in hellfire armor that reflects half the damage done to Scorpion, back at his opponent. Lasts for 5 seconds and can be activated again after 18 seconds. 15-frame startup.

Sub-Zero - Frosty the Snowman:
Control the Ice Clone's movements, like a true Subby clone that freezes your opponent on contact. Clone can be blocked. Subby needs to be neutral standing to assume control.

Liu Kang - Shaolin Fury:
Causes all unfavorable-to-slightly unfavorable matchups to be 5-5 for the remainder of the round. (Cancels Kabal's Trait)

Kung Lao - Bitch, you can't handle my swag:
EX Low Hat, no meter cost. Must recharge for 10 seconds after every use.

Sindel - Edenian Idol:
Black Adam's trait, only made by sonic energy, like in one of Sindel's Fatalities.

Ermac - Blind Swordsman's Mentor:
Replaces special moves with a nerfed version of Kenshi's specials. Interchangeable like Nightwing's Staff/Escrima stances.

Reptile - Acidic Orgasm:
All acid-related attacks have their startup decreased by eight frames for six seconds. Trait recharges after 15 seconds.

Kitana - I'm a Princess:
Bitch-slap, 60-frame startup. The demoralization of getting hit by this slow-ass move gives the opponent a damage debuff for the rest of the round.

Johnny Cage - Nuke 'em, Johnny Bravo:
Puts on a new pair of shades, 40-frame startup duration. With unbroken glasses, Johnny Cage builds 33% more meter than normal.

Jade - Rage of Edenia:
Activates like Glow. No damage scaling on combos and twice the chip damage for 15 seconds. Trait recharges after 20 seconds.

Mileena - Censor Advantage:
Mileena rips off her clothes (40-frame duration), causing her entire character model and a large area around her to be heavily blurred/pixelated for the sake of the children. Her clothes come back in the form of her pinkish energy after 15 seconds. Trait recharges after 30 seconds.

Nightwolf - Power of the Spirits:
Wields a new weapon style: spirit daggers and hatchets.

Cyrax - Taunt:
Shouts various things, such as "I need it!" and "Kabal's broke, somebody should patch him.".

Noob Saibot - Never Alone:
Noob controls Saibot like a real clone. Can be summoned out of an oily portal at any time, even while Noob is recieving a combo, but can only take one hit before liquefying.

Smoke - MKII:
Throws out a Spear. Works like Scorpion's EX Spear, but with increased damage scaling.

Sektor - I'm happy and I know it:
All of Sektor's 1 and 2 button-related normals hit true mid and have longer range. Lasts for 12 seconds and must recharge for 24.

Sonya - Rations:
Consumes Military rations, 30-frame startup with an additional 15 frames of recovery. Rejuvenates 10% health, with the amount decreasing by 2% each time it's used in one match.

Jax - Old Spice:
Sprays Old Spice deodorant on himself, causing him to regenerate 1% health every two seconds, for 36 seconds. 28-frame startup duration.

Kano - BlackBryan's Cigarette:
Smokes a special cigarette that reverts Kano back to pre-patch for the rest of the round. 15-frame execution, can only be used once per match.

Kurtis Stryker - V01C-4N 84-DE5 pills:
Takes some steriods that give him pre-patch dash mechanics and makes his normally high-hitting attacks hit crouching opponents. 20-frame execution, can only be used once per match.

Shang Tsung - Mirror:
Morphs into his opponent for five seconds, with no damage boost.

Kabal - Meta Knight:
Wears Meta Knight's apparel, and turns every matchup into an 8-2 matchup, if it wasn't already better than an 8-2 for Kabal.

Baraka - Tarkatan Rage:
Works similarly to Jade's EX Shadow Flash, with no increase in damage being absorbed through the armor. Lasts for 8 seconds and has a recovery period of 9 seconds, Baraka will lack armor on all normally-armored attacks during the debuff state and be pale in color.

Raiden - JOHNNYBOUGHTACAR!!!:
Shouts random gibberish then imbues his hands with Shazam's trait.

Sheeva - Shokan Might:
Gains armor on all specials, EX or not, and deals 150% of her damage. Trait is rechargable and can be activated mid-charge. Full charge lasts for 30 seconds.

Quan Chi - Ed Boon's Power:
Trance-like attack. Quan grins like a total troll and confuses the opponent's attack button inputs for 10 seconds. Can only be used once per round.

Skarlet - Period:
Sprays blood on the opponent, infecting them and causing them to lose 1% health every second for 15 seconds. Rechargable Trait.

Kenshi - Meditation:
Meditates in mid-air and gains a Meter Regeneration buff for 15 seconds. 70-frame startup duration.

Rain - Bitch, I'm flawless:
Removes his mask to show his beautiful face, causing Rain to dance around like a narcissistic prick (revamped attack animations). He also gains armor on all of his normal attacks. Trait duration: 10 seconds. Rechargable Trait.

Freddy Krueger - Never Sleep Again:
Turns invisible and causes a "Dream Kombat" code effect for 15 seconds. Recharges after 40 seconds, and can only be used when fully charged.

Would be nice to have an accompanying gameplay patch coming out with PC release in the first place. It seems that people do not believe in such possibility though...

Ex spin is -7 on block

21212 is a few frames safer on block.

Ex Teleport happens faster.

Not sure, but I think I've heard that there was some glitch with her that made her invincible 'till the end on the round or match. Whether it was fixed or not, I don't know.

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong.

Allow Shang Tsung to morph into anyone. Change soul steal duration & range to near fullscreen ^^.
This, but in reality it is only possible to morph into 3 other characters including your opponent, like boss shang. So I would like him to basically just have a separate special move Shapeshifter to morph, again like ladder bass Shang. You choose 2 or 1 characters before the match(depending on if it is a single or a tag match) for morphing. Shapeshifter will turn you into first character you chose for 5 sec, Ex Shapeshifter will turn you into the second for 8 sec and has armor on start up like the boss Shang. In a tag match Shapeshifter turns you into the opponent that is not fighting you at the moment for 5 sec, and Ex Shapeshifter will turn you into the only character you chose before match for 8 sec. Soul steal will work just like on consoles allowing your to morph into the opponent. I think that is pretty reasonable.

You guys suck, all these patches would still make the game horrible:p

RedRaptor10 suggested the most coolest changes, he only forgot:
Remove Hit priority on Jump ins kicks over AAs
Whiffed jump in Kicks with a -6 frame window on landing
Blockstun slightly adjusted, so that we can actually use the 1st available frame.

Add this to the Raptor's list and the reasonable characters fixes and this game becomes a tournament standard.

I'm not so good in this game to make any suggest, however, if I can mod this game:

Scorpion: fine
Liu Kang: b3,1,2 cause knockdown and cannot longer juggle
Kung Lao: spin has more startup frame (something like Rain's RH kick) and EX version has the same startup of normal version, more of his string can juggle, dive kick is slower, his teleport is neutral and doesn't have any hit option
Sub-Zero: less startup frame on ice puddle
Sindel: remove low scream fireball
Ermac: fine
Reptile: elbow dash is now a simple netral dash that pass through enemy for cross-up and mind games and cover less space
Kitana: she can't use more than 2 fan on a combo unless she use EX fan throw
Cage: cannot use nutpunch in combos. All his strings cause knockdown. He can no longer frame trap with is EX ball
Jade: fine
Mileena: telekick is slower, U3 has more startup frame. 2 U3 in a row cause knowdown
Nightwolf: fine
Cyrax: can no longer use 2 net in a combo for resets. Bombs can be blocked. Reduce his damage a lot after a net. Remove command grab.
Noob Saibot: fine
Smoke: can't no longer reset with F4xxbomb
Sektor: fine
Sonya: fine
Jax: EX punch cause more damage but no longer knockdown
Kano: fine
Stryker: fine
Shang Tsung: soul steal can't increase damage
Baraka: fine
Kabal: no longer cancel his nomad dash. AGB has more startup animation
Raiden: teleport is slower. Superman cause knockdown on hit and no longer carry you on wall
CyberSub: fine
Sheeva: don't know a lot of her. Something that can raise her level a little bit
QuanChi: stomp cause knockdown

That's my opinion to give more balance from top to the bottom but, as I say before, I'm not a pro MK player.

Forget nerfs, it's all about buffing the lesser characters.

Sheeva: Better normals! Cancelable ground stomp and all low attacks jail into her low grab.

Kano: I dont think Kanos knives need to be faster, but his ex knife should hold them in the air longer, to extend combo damage. Choke hits mid and give it a little bit of advantage on block like +1 or +2. Change horizontal ball to a back forward attack input.Take all that negative on block crap for all his attacks

Jade: Give her, her old U3 back, and give her better meter building ability. Glow goes through ALL projectiles, including Noob and Kenshi's.

Noob: Increase his damage output. It's ludicrous right now.

CSZ: Improve teleport, maybe ex armour on ice beam....I sometimes think of the potential of this guy if his divekicks worked like Sonyas..

Baraka: I think this guy is fairly solid and is only let down, like Sheeva, by having pretty bleh normals in terms of speed. Making his standing 1 and 2 a bit faster would be a nice buff in itself.

Ermac: Heh, I know this guy is good already but it would be awesome if his B3 was a low starter!

Quan Chi: Allow him to combo into damage boost.

Sindel: Ex hair whip either needs to do more damage or have more range to even think of wasting a bar on this. Or give it armour. If just one of her specials had armour that would make such a difference.

Fix the EN Forceball glitch when the opponent teleports
Faster recovery on Acid Spit
EN Acid Spit to be +6 like Joker's Acid Flower
Invis faster cancel start-up frames so 32 x Invis is +4
3 to hid mid vs low-hitbox chars
Bigger horizontal hitbox on St2 and higher AA property
Super Armor on XRay
Armor on all active frames of EN Slide

He becomes mid-tier then.

Ermac:

- U4 can be linked into special attacks which would offer him a more damaging overhead options.

- EN Force Port changed to have similar properties as Scorpions EN Teleport; Ermac carries out the full animation but can be poked / uppercut / combo'ed out of the first hit or is at advantage if second hit is blocked (much like his standard F2).

wait, u mean on block stun we cant actually move on the first frame u recover?

it takes 1 frame to release block.
if you try to hit a character right after you release block, you will see the character releasing block instead of hitting, its annoying as hell, that is why crossups are uber strong in this game

That's because I prefer to nerf a lot the OP character than buff the low tier characters. I think it's better to remove dirty stuff than add more on characters that doesn't have anyone.
However it's an opinion based on my experience online and it's just a joke. :)
