I noticed they changed the sound on the Halo 2 sub machine gun so it no longer sounds like a weak-sauce BB-gun, which is fantastic. the gun sounds powerful enough to actually justify it's recoil. It was so weird in Halo 2 that it originally had massive recoil indicative of good power, but literally had the sound effect of a nerf gun.

But I really wish they had given the same sound treatment to the Halo 3 Assault Rifle. It still sounds so weak.

Halo 3 in general needed some more lovin' with the update.

Hoping they fix matchmaking soon.

I have to learn the H2 maps anyway. Never really got to spend any time online in H2. Looks like I was missing out on a lot.

Haha, Halo 1 is actually fun on Legendary. Wait until you get to Halo 2. Sniper Jackals that 1 shot you everywhere. Half the game is memorizing where the Sniper Jackals are and popping out taking potshots at them. And co-op makes it harder because if either of you die you get reset to the last checkpoint

Well the matchmaking is super fucked up. I've only gotten a few games since last night. Kind of a buzz kill.

On the plus side, the game looks and plays great. 60 fps is sooo much better. They just need to fix multiplayer asap.

Oh and Halo 4 looks the best, graphics/lighting wise by far.

It would be perfect if you could super bounce, since matchmaking is not working right now. You still can super bounce in very selective places, and you have to be a lot higher than normal. For instance, I've gotten one super bounce to work on ascension, but that's it.

I was going to stream as much as possible and just show/teach everyone all the super bounce spots and all the glitches I remembered, extremely disappointed that I can't do that. And it's because of the 1080p, the updated resolution has made the old ones impossible to do. And the 60 FPS has made double shotting and other stuff harder to do. You can still double shot, but it's not as consistent or as easy.

Does matchmaking work at all? I've managed to play 1 match and it was laggy and everyone quit. I've had a ton of difficulty connect to people for customs too. Plus people not showing up on roster when they're online and a myriad of other things

I've got all the MLG gametypes for 1-3 on my file share if anyone needs them. The maps for Halo 3 need to be forged and I don't have those yet, but Halo 1 and 2 are good to go.

Is it just H2A that it doesn't work on, or is it out of the original Halo 2 maps as well?
