Kiss the Missile
Red Messiah
I found this a few days ago, but I did further testing on it today and found out something pretty surprising.
The punch that you cancel on, will determine how much frame advantage (if any) you get.
My using the standard "Hold up" frame test, the 3rd punch in Punchwalk has the most advantage, 4 hits barely has any at all, and 5 hits is actually negative. It isn't punishable, but its absolutely the worst option.
Frame by frame analysis, it looks like 3rd punch is +6.
5th punch might be -6
4th punch looks to be +3 or 4
I could be completely off. I'm just watching the video on youtube and going frame by frame.
The significance of this is being able to create near consequence free mixups. Because if you fuck up, Goro has your back. The issue is, not every character will be able to capitalize as well as Geras can. Because he can make you guess if he's gonna command grab, which gets out of Goro's way, or he can go low into Time Freeze, and then Goro's stomp doesn't interrupt the combo. Other characters will likely need something that swaps sides, or moves them out of Goro's stomp path on successful mixup.
