Yeah, I know...but when? It's really bad that an Exotic is getting outclassed by practically every other freakin' hand cannon out there. -.-

It's not getting outclassed by every other handcannon. Come on now let's not get carried away. It's OK. It should be more than ok though.

I don't know when. I know there's a bigger patch due pretty soon so hopefully with the next patch.

Okay, so not every hand cannon out there. You know I didn't seriously mean that, lol. =P It's just not as up to speed as others when it should be, y'know?

How the hell is everyone not salting over Bungie putting the deathblow on the Pocket Infinity. It used to be one of the coolest weapons IMO, and now I would say that it is the worst fusion rifle in the game. Waste of an exotic because people bitch so hard in PVP. Just nerf the damn thing in PVP then and don't kill the weapon.

I definitely salted all night long about the death of the pocket infinit-3, but I was secretly giddy that with the scout rifle buffs I think the MIDA Multi-Tool I used will become one of the best non-elemental weapons in the entire game.

1) radar always active
2) buffs move speed
3) fires as fast as you can pull the trigger
4) 21 base mag size
5) Increased mag size or additional increased agility buff
6) fastest reload in the game
7) red dot indicator for precision hit
8) instantly looks downscope

What fusion rifle is worse than it? My 3 legendaries are better in every area: mag size, stability, range, charge, reload. Please explain how this weapon is not dead. Oddly enough I have 3 good fusion rifles and that is the same number of shots you can do with the pocket infinit-3.

WHY can't they have balance differentials for PvE and PvP?

Enter the Crucible and your weapon functions differently than it does in PvE.

I'm more on the thought process of that they should of simply nerfed the one hit kill-ability of this type of weapon with teh ranges that they posses.

i have ZERO idea how it is any worse/better

Fusion Rifles are probably the only weapon with a lead time on the shot tho...... i wish more weapons had this.

I personally hate these guns so i don't really care. I don't know how it was unique......

how so?

I don't understand. Truly I don't.

I know that i use my weapons the same in both and do just fine. (except of course against any type of extreme damage sponge).

You don't understand what? Why guns (like the Mythoclast for example) should function differently in PvE than they do in PvP?

The Mythoclast should stay the same way it originally was for PvE and have the damage changes only take place in a PvP environment.

Not every weapon in the game should be like this, but some of the guns with the more game breaking mechanics (in PvP, that is) shouldn't have those features in PvP. Who cares what weapon does what in PvE, y'know?

maybe they should simply have PvP and PvE only guns.... rather than crossing them?

Seems an easier solution.

But like I said..... all of the other guns pretty much function the same across btoh right now.

Yeah, maybe they should. That sounds like a good idea.

I think only certain weapons should have different PvP/PvE functions. Not all of them. There are plenty of weapons in the game that don't have something special about them.

I just got the Pocket Infinity like 2 days ago. Sucks that they nerfed it. My legendary fusion rifle has over all better stats than the PI, which is a shame.

We changed plans for tonight since the hotfix changed how we wanted to approach the VoG on hard , people wanna do the lv 26 first :( , if there's an open spot i'll let you know.

Also i'm liking the new balancing , AR are more in line with other weapons damage ratio and aren't the obvious choice ( now i can finally go fulltime pulse rifle thank god ) , scout rifle damage looking pretty damaging now and shotguns don't kill you as easily when 7 meters away.Now im waiting for the class balance fixes.

Also did anyone hear the rumor that they're gonna add subclasses in the december expansion?

And pocket infinity was broke.

Figures they nerf AR's right when I get Hard Light as a drop. I'm too pissed to even want to log in to test it's stability / accuracy after the hotfix. They could've at least buffed Impact or base damage since they nerfed everything else. Also, I'm bitter that even at rank 3 Iron Banner I can't buy the full armor set.
