Hello guys, keep up writing posts and keep this discussion alive! I want to share my
personal story with you. I ordered this game for PC when I learned cyrax was in it and
yesterday was delivered to me by my local store. I tested it playing 3 matches and imo it
seems that after patches most of the problems are over in pc edition. I feel as much
disappointed as you, because staying in the facts, I assumed kp2 + new online was going to
reach PC sometime sooner or later. I know that a lot of you think about lawsuits, however WB
is covered through their license agreement where they state also that they can restrict
access to any feature of this game within 6 months from the day it came out.
For me the problem is the moral part of this decision. Think about it, even batman game,
which was a disaster compared to MKX, continues to be supported with patches, has all DLCs
normally and also gave people the opportunity for refund. So my problem with this whole
story is, if you are a company as big as WB, gaining millions/billions of dollars each year
from gaming and cinema industry or if you are a studio like NRS and as you write in your
game's cover you want "this product to propel your legendary franchise to the next
generation" you act like that? I mean if it was for a small studio or for a small company I
could understand an excuse of the type "we won't earn enough by giving new content to pc, we
don't have enough recourses and stuff like that". But here on the contrary, there is enough
time, enough money and more than 500000 people who bought this game, some of them loyal fans
since the first game came out. This is for sure irritating and disrespective.
All in all, what I would like to suggest you is to keep spreading the petition that runs on
the Internet, keep posting your comments about this issue in any site related to the game
and hope for the best. For me the best case scenario is not to give us a refund opportunity,
but to give a chance to this game, to this whole community. Ed Boon for sure has the
prestige that needed to play a role in the conclusion of this story and as many of you
posted before, he made a public statement in an interview that the PC edition of the game is
going to be as good as on the consoles. At the end of the day if nothing changes, you know
what to do, stay away from every new NRS/WB product in the future.
