NRS Community. Possible Farewell of an eternal long relationship
They told me, they promised me, looking in the eye, PC version will be on the same level as console version. I knew it was a lie, I knew it wouldn't be, and I didn't care. I was too much of a mk fanboy. I shelled out 100$ on day 1 on a game i couldn't play properly for 3 months. Game literally just got fixed in September. We only got to enjoy it at fullest for 3 months - - -
3 months!!!
Right now it is at the same level, if not better as console versions... and now this happens.
It's no longer about buying a console version, if it came to it, maybe i would have, maybe i wouldn't, we will never be sure now, because I will never buy WB product in my life again. I will never buy product of any company who treats me like this as a consumer. After all that we, pc players went through, - THIS - THIS is how we end.
I come to TYM look around the threads and i am amazed how much people don't care.
I see threads about balance patches, kombat pack covers, what is better hot dog or cheeseburger and what not, like nothing really is happening? like no one even cares. Like tragedy right now ain't taking place.
People, I tell you now, this day will be remembered for many years to come. This is bad history, right here, right now in happening.
As people remember Mass Effect 3 ending controversy, DA2 fiasco, Old Republic fiasco, Elder Scrolls online fiasco, Final Fantasy 14 terrible launch, rework and reissue of a full game with a formal CEO apology and departure, Batman Arkham Knight PC terrible launch, removing game from steam and issuing formal apology, Watch Dogs false advertisement controversy ----- im telling you now, this will go straight into
"THINGS NO COMPANY SHOULD DO" history book.
... and no one cares.
If anyone, be that WB/NRS or any TYM member thinks this will "settle down", don't even count on it. Every major indie reviewer already took account for this action. Maximillian Hood, Rectangle, Angry Joe, Total Biscuit, Cynical Brit and hundreds more with time. Their voices matter, and if you think they're not... well, let us remember this when another WB product releases.
At least 15 countries were just annihilated from NRS scene. They were not just denied most basic that was promised and sold to them, they literally were shown middle finger in the most horrible possible way.

WB be like "hey we made bad port, lets forget we even did it". let's just ignore all those 500k people who bought this game.
I look around and see Reo posting some invisibility tech, I look around and see Fly's concerns over scorpion buffs and i'm like... really? i mean... really? I've been part of this community for 10 years.
I remember TYM since 2006-7 when it was even on old system. I was a lurker for many years until i finally decided to go full mk9 when MKKE landed on steam.
I consider myself contributor to this community. I make videos, I post findings, i made day 1 combo vids for christs sake, i organize offline scenes in whole country, i promote and do everything i can for NRS games - just look at my video portfolio (

I promised myself i wouldn't post rant post, but i had full of it. I refresh TYM nervously every 60 seconds hoping some high caliber of this community acknowledges our existence, or at least cares... but no.. let us worry about cage's buffs in kp2. Because clearly, that is more important than half a million people who were just cast into oblivion.
I was there when the internet world exploded with millions upon millions of voices when mass effect 3 landed. Many were calling us entitled children, no lifers, that our opinions don't matter, that our "small revolution" will not be noticed. Oh yeah? And how did it end? - Bioware had to submit and release EXTENDED ENDING because of us. I was there in the front lines. Our voices were heard back then, many times before that, and will be many times after this... but apparently not in this community.
Instead of uniting towards something Wrong (with capital "w"), something that should be fought every possible way imaginable; Instead of going full support for your brethren and boycotting their policies with your wallets... no... let us worry about netcode half a million people won't receive. Half a million people who gave 500 000x90$=45 000 000$. We payed for that netcode with our money, and our suffering through all this time with everything that HVS put us through.
If this is what NRS community is, then i'm done. I'm ashamed i was part of this community. I hope you enjoy your games.
I will not be the only one to go, many thousands upon thousands will leave NRS forever. Our hearts will forever be filled with disgust, mistrust, disappointment and betrayal of Biblical proportions.
But we will depart with our heads held high.
