A Hitbox Pirate - YARRR -
Fingers crossed the midscreen reliability is much better along with the mids.
From the way the team talked about it, I got the impression that they changed female hitboxes in general as well as tweaking moves, so I'm optimistic that many of the hitbox issues will be resolved with that two pronged approach.

Honestly my opinion when I read the patch notes today...


I used to play a lot of MK9 back in time even if i didn't travel maybe some of you will remember me from the online. @Alien Substance @RedRaptor10 @Rampage254

I wasn't really attracted by MKX at all with all the change at first but I bought it day one because I'm an MK fan of course. I mean let met start from the beginning I'm not here to start drama or anything but I was expecting big here today and I was really disappointed. I'm not even going to talk about all of my character not being in MKX at all.

Today I was expecting a new MKX, better netcode, better balance... better everything what else can I say ? I was kinda disappointed when I see a character like Kenshi being ignore like he is... Sure he was OP in MK9 but does he deserve that treatment in MKX ? I don't want to start any war here I don't play MKX because I don't like what the game have become so far. This game have started with safe 50/50, armoured launcher and it all stayed so far.

I really hope MKX will take another direction and let me be clear here. I'm all in for all the let the game evolve and player develop there tech. But if you want a competitive game you got to give the player a good online and offline experience and at the moment, I feel both of them are lacking because of balance issues and the netcode.

This was my point of view just want to share it with you guys I don't post here often so no hate please :)

Edit : No anti air in this game omg....

I really hope so man, this is going to be a HUGE quality of life change for Jax if so suppose we'll find out tomorrow.

WTF IS THIS? Rejoice my Kenshi fellow mains, TF in balanced is now "ONLY" -43 on whiff and like -52 in Kenjutsu.

I was hoping for something akin to KI Season 2. Big daddy changes across the board. Definitely not anything to get me excited for the game.

  • Reptile - Towards+BP is now +1 on hit (up from -8)
  • Reptile - Acid Spit no longer triggers auto block and had its damage increased by 3
  • Reptile - Changed the Floating Ball motion to Down,Down,BLK
  • Reptile - Removed 4 recovery frames from Forceball & Slimeball
  • Reptile - Slightly loftier reaction on Slippery Slide
  • Reptile - Removed 4 recovery frames from Acid Puddle
  • Reptile - Klaw Swipe is now -6 on block (up from -11)
  • Reptile - Klaw Slash is now -15 on block (down from -10)
  • Reptile - Klaw Pounce is now -7 on block (up from -17)
  • Reptile - Klaw Bounce is now -20 on block (down from -17)
  • Reptile - Reptilian Dash is no longer a hard knockdown and had its reaction adjusted
  • Reptile (Deceptive) - Activating stealth no longer triggers auto block on the opponent allow to continue some combos
  • Reptile (Deceptive) – Reduced the recovery of stealth ex by 11 frames
Almost every reasonable buff to the standard moves Reptile's mains were asking for:
- safe and almost safe special to end combos and build meter (swipe - and perhaps pounce can be used now depending on the mu)
- less recovery on forceballs
- a way to put out acid puddle safely
- (a get out of pressure poke) - d3, addressed previously

So, Reptile is definitely one of the winners of the buff fest

And deceptive can now be activated mid combos, which increases dramatically its use

Why is nobody talking about the fact that (according to these patch notes) OS's have been completely removed from the game?
People are either A. Too Stoked for their newfound right to play MKX. With their new assortment of goodies at their disposal.

B. Sad that their character got nerfed to oblivion and Quan... Oh that Quan... is still there... 6framez

What a day. What a lovely day.
Anyone who thought they were going to stay in the game for the long term were fooling themselves. There is ALWAYS a patch in each NRS that changes some major "mechanic" of the game. This was that patch, and it was expected IMO.

Pretty good patch overall I think bring on Sindel, Baraka, and Rain to break the game again!

Don't think I'm gunna be able to convert Hat Callback's against ducking opponent's anymore tho.... :(
