As someone who uses Freiza with A. Gohan. It should be of note that you can DHC into Gohan and get a super dash followup off Freiza's level one if it's high enough. You can also do potential unleashed and then followup with Gohan's lvl 3 too lmao.

I haven't found any use of Freiza's assist in combos but Gohan's 2S puts him far enough back to call Freiza in and then slide back in with a 2M.

Anyone else been dabbling with Freiza and A. Gohan?

Just Been labbing and found out I can dhc into both Nappa and Vegeta too and continue if Frieza’s lvl1 is high enough.

Nappa’s lvl1 is great to combo from with assist/saiba-setup, but wasn’t expecting it from Vegeta....

Spoiler: 8 bar lol

can obvious opt for 3bar without gold and ending in lvl1. Probs not optimised, but the conversion is reliable thanks to preserved hitstun.

If anybody here uses Vegeta assiassist could please tell me the exact moment you need to call him to get a good down strong relaunch? I often time it wrong and go for homing and by myself I could figure out only so much. I thought comparing notes could be useful.
And on the side, do we have a button for anti airing universal ohs?

Its all cool and quite impressive but it doesn't answer my question.

I meant in a midscreen combo like this. Which is my own, with imputs, and still I can't get the precise timing. Sometimes I whiff, sometimes I hit but it doesn't follow.

The only reliable one is cancelling disks into golden frieza into a 2h launcher.

Yours is very good tough.

Doesn’t appear to as easily. This is the closest I came.

He was a few frames from recovering when the vanish lands, and Nappa’s lvl1 is pretty much perfect for it; active frames, short recovery etc.

If it is possible. It’ll only be with very specific chars I believe. The problem is Black’s deathball descends much faster.

not quite what i meant, i meant using frieza's deathball and then DHC'ing into blacks super, does that work? i'm asking because i'm pretty sure it doesnt work with my anchor either. I don't need to be able to do this to have a good team for freiza do i?

Ah, gotcha. Not sure but doubtful tbh.

maybe illhave an alternate team where i swap out buu for adult gohan as my anchor, but Frieza, Black and Buu still gonna be my main team.

Can’t speak to their synergy, but should be a strong team. All solid characters in their own right. Kid Buu will be your key to opening people with decent defense up I’d imagine. Both providing pressure with assist and going apeshit on point. Frieza’s great at frustrating people into mistakes, particularly chars with little/no full screen presence.

My initial thoughts are that I might run Black point and switch in Frieza in any way that leaves him at some distance, mid-combo switch/dhc. Frieza’s buttons are good but Black’s are better. Having then started with footsies, switch over to zoning with Frieza. Frieza’s ability to change the pace of a match is phenomenal in my experience and it’ll mess with adaptation. Tbh, there’s little in it, but might be worth a try...

I found this INSANE Frieza combo he does by himself. BUT he must be in Gold form and Sparking. That shit, no lie, was about 8000 damage but its difficult as fuck!

Once hes in sparking and gold, Frieza gains another air dash after his air down ki blast attack, super dash, hit again, combo, .....i cant even remember because it was so fucking crazy, i cant even do it at the moment. But its the sickest single character combo ive ever seen ANYBODY do!
