A new small area with a bunch of chests with character specific stuff.

If you reset the chests in that area, they hold mostly augments for random characters. Raiden & Scorpion augments are what I usually find, too bad I roll Noob.

No but I know where most are.

6 in beginning area in front of each statue just outside of the Shang's Throne Room
1 in Shang's Throne Room under the staircase
1 Kytinn Hive (goro's lair section)
1 in dead woods in area with 10000 soul vault
Several in the courtyard scattered about.
1 opposite the scorpion chest where you lifted the rubble
2 in pagoda that was locked just down the steps from warrior statues
1 in the alcove of the netherflame monument puzzle

I've done a krypt sweep like 2.5 times. Going to just play the Shrine for now, always get stressed when I have to deal with those dang spiders.

There is an item you can use that makes the denizens leave you alone for 60 seconds. They come quite easily, so you should have plenty. Problem solved.
