If you can't find one, i guess i can describe him. Infinite Number is a skinny white guy with dark brown hair. He smokes a lot and takes smoke breaks a lot. Hope this helps

@mortal_jason also, Juggs was actually the first person to also think Infinite Number was Bass. And before this all even happened. Now that I think of it, he has suggested it in the past too, knowing it was on PSN. He responded to your message in the GG thread and suggested it was him based off of your post/experience (which is suspicious)… the thing is I have played them both before and thought the same.

Bass wasn't too great with characters other than Kabal, which could explain some of that too…

Then, Juggs mentioned that he wanted to challenge me. Just odd…

Also ironic that Infinite Number is so good, yet does not/won't post here.

I really don't care.... Great Kabal player regardless

Uhhh, no? I mean, the thread is there, it's not like it's hard to click on it and actually read it. It was in response to him talking about "dl_links_runnin", just stop @dubson, you keep digging yourself in a deeper hole. I fear you'll never make it out of it.

Ah, yes your right that was DL-links_runnin or whatever, my mistake. You have no idea how many trolls are on UMK3 on PSN. Regardless. Creepin. As usual. Deeper hole about what? Bass?

Listen, I have played him plenty on XBL, I know his style. Bass and I have played on PSN. Recently and in the past. Just so odd that he challenged me for you as well.

If their different their different, Infinite Number is a great player too

So Bass plays with a modified PS3 controller? When you guys play on MAME, are you guys allowed to do more button configurations in tournaments than what is allowed on MKAK? as far as I know the button config on MKAK seems extremely limited, thus some of these ridiculous "Kabal set-ups" seem less possible to happen on MKAK but I am not sure? Im pretty sure you are really limited but Im sure people have ways around it… this type of stuff should not be allowed at tournaments, this ridiculous button mapping shit

Yeah to be honest with you, if he ever called me out on the 5+ babies, I didn't keep track. We were basically going back and forth, he added me to friends and eventually I had to block him just because of all the non stop messages while I was playing other people. He was trying to figure out who I was. I also heard his voice on accident when I forgot to mute (I always mute) I'm 100% sure its not mrigotbass.

I'd hope not.

Back when I was using a PS2 controller I would assign my R1 button as a secondary LK so that I could charge Jax's ground pound or Liu Kang's bicycle kick easier while fighting. I always assumed that on stick you couldn't compete with that, but the reality is you can since you use your ENTIRE hand to press buttons. You just hold down LK with your pinky finger, and the rest of your hand is free.

I highly doubt mrigotbass use's a modified controller or autofire since he doesn't even utilize Kabal's IAF's or even Kabal's huge corner combos. It's more about spacing and mind games with him, I'm not trying to talk shit, but apparently he doesn't need to. His cousin Sanspower utilizes both, and they are both about on the same level. So what does that say? I don't know.

Edit: He uses like knees and JP's...the kind of stuff @ded mentions, weird stuff...

MrIGotBass confirmed that he was in fact "dl_links_runnin".
He tried hitting me up on some DOCTOR_CC (?) account and then confirmed it.
His Kabal is the nastiest for sure.
But in all MK games, being good with the strongest character only gets you so much respect.
When you can own with everyone, then you really earn your spot as a legend.
Truth is that when he didn't use Kabal, I went 3-3 vs him.
And I'm no REO or NoDoubt...

I hate to defend him because I blocked him on Skype like 2-3 months ago, but he's good with more than Kabal.

Ah. Very interesting. Thats one of the things I don't like about MAME is these advanced set-ups, on MKAK everyone is on the same grounds for the most part, Im not sure whats all capable yet, the button mapping shit is an unfair problem. As far as you can tell with MKAK, you can't even have one button mapped to more than one right?

I was going through old threads with Bass (trust me Ive known this guy a long long time) and he was referring to brining a "custom modified ps3 controller" to Summar Jam. He was talking about brining the drivers and everything to get it set up, lol.

He was referring to his encounter with him on DL-Link-Running or whatever. And its true, he is good with more characters other than Kabal, but he wasn't back in the day. And he couldn't do anything with Low Tier/Random. He could only really win with Kabal. His Kabal is the nastiest, but not his other characters. Im sure he is kompetitive with more characters, but none are on the level of his Kabal. @mortal_jason point is spot on about being a true master though, which is why I don't regard him as "the best". He probably has the best Kabal, though.

I believed phobaphobia as well, he seemed like the crazy_lebanese and style I remember. Very very great player.

@nwo i also feel like mapping LK to also shoulder buttons (r1/r2) in MAME, some of this shit is too dirt ball and shouldn't be allowed in tournaments for sure, because in the console ports you can't have a button linked to more than one button? since Most are playing on pad that is a huge unfair advantage to play against on Mame. Sure, arcade has that advantage on a Pad player, but pad player has some advantages over the Stick player. So I think it is fair. But i don't think that would be fair to have buttons linked to more than one button/input
