I came in here thinking the title was going to lead me to this great joke about how the TYM community wouldnt be below requesting nerfs of actual women since we couldn't close the goddamn deal on the first meet, hence theyre OP bitches and we cry for nerfs, but then i read the post. Still interesting, but...missed opportunity.
I have no problem acquiring the women.

Bigger characters are usually slower but stronger. Female characters are typically smaller, thus with less real estate to actually hit. This is a historically common fighting game concept that may or may not help or hinder a game. But it's definitely present in just about every game I've played. The difference in NRS games, however, can sometimes be pretty dramatic.

Though would you rather see Goro low profiling every move, doing splits and maneuvering with the flexibility of Tanya?
was gonna make a similar post. Try playing VF where every character juggles differently. and you have to have specific combos for specific characters. MKX is pretty easy lol

How does this make more sense than lowering Ferra/Torr's hurtbox so they have a section near the top which isn't really hurtbox and just there for show?

It sucks when certain strings don't work against certain characters, but you can't really equalize everything by making bigger or smaller characters have extra/less hitboxes than would appear. Too much disconnect between what you see and what the game recognizes just makes things worse.

For that matter, Kotal Kahn is an entire foot taller than many characters. That's not even. So his hurtbox should be adjusted such that it's a ghost hurtbox from the shoulders up

I have more problem with sub zero and scorpion crouching hitboxes than with females. D'Vorah's hitbox however is stupidly small.

The solution is to offset their advantageous hurt boxes with lower life or damage. There needs to be a trade off.

they can simply adjust the females hitboxes to be the same size as the small males... that way every character does not have wiff combos on them/does not have problems punishing certain specials due to wiff/can do the same combo they normally use on them without fear that it won't land due to improperly made hit box/poorly made hitbox!

NOTE: i have mained Mileena, Sonya, D'vorah, Kitana, Cassie

and they do have an advantage!!! i don't know about jacqui, honestly she sucks so much im not sure it would be to her advantage!

I think the problem is when a move is supposed to hit mid but looks like it should hit high. Like in general, a 112 string or something: it's normally a High, Mid, Mid but the second 1 of the 11 looks very identical to the first.

Either make the distinction between mid and highs more clear or just stop making high-looking moves hit mid.

Fix Sonya's B332 and 12 please.

Woman are smaller men are larger. I think since woman can low profile certin things and men cant men get better damage but woman are faster this is just my opinion.

plenty Female characters on MKX have sufficient damage Cough.RS Kitana. D'vorah SQ. Tanya KJ. Sonya CO/DEMO. Mileena P.Ahem

Yeah, they are smaller. If I'm not mistaken, there are 3 kinds of hitboxes in this game: female ones, standard male ones, and large male ones (Jax, Kotal, Goro, Pred, Tremor, Jason and F/T). One of Sub0 corner clone set ups works only on large ones, that's the reason behind my guess that there are at least 3 types of them hitboxes. The worst part is - they are all breathing. :(

Really? I'm pretty sure when Quan is in corner facing SubZ's clone he will not fall into it after 114, like any other big hitbox char would. Huh... I'll check it when back home! I do like big hitbox characters. It's so hard to mess up corner clone cancels on them :rolleyes:.

Yeah, certain strings of F/T only work on big bodies and Quan fits right into the mold.
