Favorite fighting styles to watch

So, which of the characters in the game has a fighting style you particularly enjoy watching? Not necessarily from a game mechanics standpoint, but from an animation standpoint.

One of my favorites is Canary. I love some of her grappling techniques(flying armbar counter in particular).

What are some of your favorites?

I really like watching iLLUSIONS' Green Arrow, mostly because he can keep people out pretty well with his arrows. Even if the arrows have a large margin of arrows, when iLLUSIONS hits several perfect arrows in a row (reading a jump and hitting with a straight arrow, attempting a straight arrow but doing a downwards one when he sees players approaching) it feels really satisfying in that 'reading you like a book' kind of way.

I have 3 characters that aesthetically turn me on, even though overall this game is pretty standard in terms of combos across the board. I like characters in this game that sort of break that standard.

Cheetah- flashy, spine crushing, love the "primitive" grab animations.
Blue Beetle- air cancels, stance switch Whaddup, favorite combos to look at
Ivy- favorite string animations

Definitely Firestorm, (why i play him i guess). Love the molten trap animation when they get melted to the ground, the Fusion Charge (turning into a fireball looks awesome), the Atomic burst, and I love his b2. The overhead looks so sick and powerful with the hard knockdown and with trait it look awesome bouncing them off the ground. (plus it has a really cool sound effect).

My two mains, Sub and Fate.

Good Sub play is always welcome and impressive. Good Sub play requires smart meter conservation, patience, and reads, which is always good to watch.

Fate’s zoning at a high level blows me away. Keeping an opponent out with fireballs, knowing my when to call ankhs and when to send them, where to stop orbs, etc

Joker. When you see joker played at a high level, it's amazing. The setups, the reads, the randomness involved with doing whatever you can to piss your opponent off and get them to play reckless.

As the Clown Prince of Crime would say.....

"Cause this Jokers Wild!!!!"

Wonder Woman: I love defensive style of play so she is super appealing to me since she is a fortress.

Catwoman: i love oki and stagger kind of rushdown.

Harley, Starfire, I like their frame trap based zoning.

Scarecrow's animations and sound effects are just so satisfying to experience, coolest character in the game. I'll never get tired of his command grab. Even his walk animation is awesome.

Darkseid is also great to watch. There are a lot of powerful feeling B3s, but his takes it for the level of sass involved. Seeing a god backhand someone across the screen? Yeah, that's pretty sick.

Honorable mentions to Harley's animations and huge props to Wonder Woman's sound effects.

Bro nothing is more satisfying then hearing joker laugh as you hear the mb crowbar lol and when you hit someone with crazed run half the screen away just kills me lmao the goofiest run lmao

I don't even play Firestorm but I love seeing his combos because of the animation.. Like, there's just fire and molten lava everywhere and the opponent even becomes a friggin stone statue at some point! It's awesome to look at.

I like all types, but when they're abusive. Like Wonder Woman from half screen, Doomsday in your face and Dr. Fate from fullscreen. #bringBackDoomsday

My preference of watching is determined more the characters themselves rather then the play style. There are a few chars I like watching more because of the playstyle like Dr. Fate, but I'm more into watching chars that I like them as chars, like Sub-Zero, Starfire, Poison Ivy (all of my 3 IJ2 mains), Green Arrow, Joker, Scarecrow etc; or watching players who use chars I in other games, like Happy Pow who use Flash in IJ2 but he use Reptile in MKX. But if I really have to go with a "style" alone, watching character specialists is always great to see.
