Though I agree Kabal shouldn't be banned, I don't know how far this example goes. If one of the best players in the world can almost go even with the best Kabal with one specific character, that only speaks for that match-up specifically.

Again, I agree he shouldn't be banned, but Kabal is a problem. Although not broken, he's basically this game's version of Third Strike Chun Li.

If SF4 wasn't popular or Marvel those games wouldn't be there. SFxT is actually considered a true fighter. It's just boring. MK9 was @ evo with it being crap on release. So... Stay bitter.

Calling Marvel mash-happy is completely ridiculous. I agree it's random, but it's random because of the damage output and x-factor, not because of the execution-level.

Marvel isn't even Random as you call it. Marvel top players are more consistent than any other fighting games' top players

I kinda agree. I think NerdJosh put it best: Marvel is the "poker" of fighting games. It's competitive chaos. What I particularly love about Marvel is that their low-tier heroes are getting far more mileage than MK's low-tier heroes. The stuff LLND does with Chris/Ammy/Hsien-Ko is freakin' art.

Honestly, the main reason MK will most likely not be at EVO next is because a lot of players from the Capcom base look at MK as a one character game. Do you think a tournament organizer wants to host a one character game at their event? It's just going to put the crowd into a snooze fest and lessen the excitement at the event. Also a lot of Capcom players didn't give MK much respect during it's golden age of UMK3 because it was run by all Kabal. Why in the hell would they want to see the same exact thing take place now?

Not really. TOs know what's up. And educated players know the deal with MK. Listen to Alex Valle yesterday on OBS, the general public would want Marvel all day if they were in charge.

I think we made our own bed when skarlet PP daggers where nerfed, she was just possibly the best character in the game, who could spam dagger do deal with iaGBs, small hitbox to dealth NDCs, and she had low starter and overhead starter, but her best tools where nerfed, besides of not dealing damage, now she is reduced to shit.

It's true, if im CSZ fighting Kabal, I want them to rush me as 1 frame parry becomes a super strong counter, and then CSZ can start rushing Kabal down. But if Kabal is spamming machine gun iagb, its good night vienna.

Im glad they nerfed Skarlet, though it makes me wonder if pre patch Skarlet would have been Kabals only challenge.

BUT, it showed that they could take something OP away from her and still she's a very strong character.

I feel thats what Kabal needs, his zoning toned down. NMD pressure is hard for the Kabal player to do consistantly. A zoning Kabal is harder to beat than a rush down one.

If NRS doesn't want to patch their game, does the game deserve another shot at Evo?

I think mashing lmhs and getting a combo is dumb but the diff between you and md is that i think the gamd is complete shit but im not on srk hating on it and you hate mk9 what the hell r u doinvg here salty hater?

Mashing L/M/H will give you combo, but it won't give you a combo what's worth anything. And against a good player, you're not going to be able to land that combo.

What our Cyrax players do with the resets is what EVERY SINGLE MvC3 player has to do with their team.

I think Evo would have MK again if it had a bigger following. It had a Diverse cast @ Evo but if people do start jumping on the Kabal wagon then it will be hella dumb. And you can't really predict what will happen once Injustice is out, tho I believe people will jump ship and focus on that game.

LMHS combos are simple sure. As simple as MK9 Combos are. MK9 has the easiest combos of any FG I've ever played. I'm not hating on MK really, I just want it to be better. But why don't you try combos that actually deal damage? They are 100x harder than anything in MK.

In all seriousness, though, you can do shit like mash on lights into hitconfirm, mash on j.H to OS a throw attempt, etc.

And to top it all off, the game is extremely random. X-Factor has a lot to do with that, though...without it, Marvel is actually fairly clean otherwise.

U ban Kabal, then REO will just break another character. What next? We gonna ban REO cuz he's broken?.....so broken he breaks every character he touches? We can ban Kabal, but it won't solve the problem....

So what if Marvel lets you confirm on lights? MK doesn't let you confirm on shit except jump in. You pretty much gotta go into the whole string because of the way the game works. SF4 has it best with a few frames to confirm. Most consistent top players in any fg = random. That logic.
